    partial tuckpointing

Brad contacted me very quickly to schedule an inspection and the quote was very fast as well. Scheduling was easy and the work was done within a month of getting the quote. The guys who did the work were fantastic. I would hire A&A again.

    repair front steps

The flagstones on my front steps were coming off and I needed to have the stairs repaired to prevent injury as well as provide a long term solution to this issue. A&A Masonry provided a reasonable approach to the work (ie. no need to spend the $10,000 + recommended by another company to remove and replace the existing stairs, which are sound) and a reasonable cost. The also referred me to a good company from which to choose the replacement stones. They were prompt and thorough and the work looks wonderful. They completed the work on time and left the work site immaculate.

Parging and Front Porch Brick Column

When I bought my house a few years ago, the parging was already in so-so shape and there was a gap at the back part of the top of the brick column in my front porch. Over time, the parging got worse and the column gap became a "Squirrel Hotel", so I needed to get these items fixed. I had heard a lot about A&A, so I gave them a call and Jeff came to do the initial inspection. He was friendly and helpful, and the quote for the work needed arrived quickly in my inbox. Scheduling the work to be done was easy. Dwight came over yesterday and now that everything is finished, I can't emphasize enough how impressed I am. He was professional and worked quickly, and the new parging looks absolutely incredible. As for the Squirrel Hotel, there are now bricks in the gap that match the colour of the rest of the column. Nice! I'm definitely calling A&A again when I need other masonry-related work done.

    Parging warranty work

About 4 very small areas of parging (done 2 years ago) chipped off due to movement of the concrete at the sides of my house. I called A&A and spoke to Andy about getting it repaired. He informed me that it could be taken care of under warranty. James came out today to take care of it. He did the walk around with me before and after the work. He is very professional and he did a great job on the repair. I also asked him many questions about other work I want to get done and he provided a lot of information about products and services. A&A is a great company with great staff!

    water proofing

I called several companies from homestars for a quote and A&A replied promptly. Bill was very professional, explained the work in detail and provided a quote. He followed up a few times and I went with this company. The work was completed in 3 days, mess free, headache free and left me worry free about this wet corner. Highly recommend A&A, great experience!! Thank god for homestars!!

    Tuckpointing

The service I received from A&A Masonry was professional and efficient from the moment I submitted a request for a quote online. I received a call within days from a specialist who was able to assess the work required and give me a reasonable estimate of time and cost. The work was scheduled within the time discussed, sooner actually. The work was completed in a day as I was told. The area was left clean and the work done was very satisfactory. I would highly recommend A&A Masonry.

    Waterproofing (exterior)

A&A did an excellent job waterproofing over 60 linear feet of my house. Dominic, John, and their crew were extremely professional and thorough. They were knowledgable, friendly, accountable, punctual, and willing to go the extra mile if needed. Although more expensive, they use premium quality materials and pay very close attention to detail, reinforced by their extended warranty. I would recommend A&A to anyone who cares for their home, and in fact have already hired them to do additional masonry work.

    Brick,mortar and crack repairs

We found A&A through Home Star and were very impressed, Dan Vetere who came to give us the quote was very thorough and pointed out other places that needed repairing which we had not noticed. Dwight from A&A arrived bright and early and we were impressed with how professional he was at his work, he took so much care and we can't say enough about how pleasant he was explaining a few things to us. Looking at his work one would never have know he had been there it was done so well, and all areas spotless This man is a craftsman. Thank you Dwight and A&A

    Tuck Point, Brick repair

After more than 30 years our house required some tuck point work in a number of locations close to the ground. A & A inspected the site and also found a crack in the brick work that would over time become significant (we verified this independently). The work required a vertical row of bricks to be replaced. The work was very neatly done and it is impossible to tell where the new bricks are in the wall. A few weeks later we noticed some further need for tuck pointing. The crew returned and did the work for no charge. We waited over two winters to write this review. The work is a neat today as the day it was completed. Highly recommend this company.

    Repairing brickwork on Victorian House

After ripping off the front porch, we had extensive brick work done on our Victoria house. This was a job that required skilled masonry and a good eye in order to ensure that the new brick on the front of the house matched the old and that the brick that was crumbling in the back was repaired properly. Andy, Brad and Reynaldo were a pleasure to work with. The project was completed on time and on budget. The guys were pleasant and helpful, and Brad was more than willing to explain his estimate and give us a detailed scope of work. We would not use anyone else.
