In two-words: honest and professional. We couldn't recommend The Duct Cleaning Specialists more highly. We had Paul and Mariela out this past Saturday to help with a dryer vent problem and to assess whether a full duct cleaning was required. The company doesn't normally work Saturdays but an earlier weekday appointment had to be re-scheduled at the last minute by Paul after Toronto was hit was some severe weather. When I spoke with Paul about re-scheduling he indicated that he was happy to come out on Saturday morning given the inconvenience to me. From this first conversation with Paul I was very impressed. The service itself only further demonstrated just how committed he is to providing a level of customer service any home owner would be grateful to receive. Although both my wife and I thought a full duct cleaning was in order, Paul carefully inspected and photographed the ducts and explained to me that in his opinion it was not urgently required and could wait. This should tell you something. Paul is not someone just trying to make a quick buck off an uninformed or ill-informed customer. He explained to me the situation, and gave me his honest opinion which resulted in me not going ahead with the full cleaning. That's impressive and speaks volumes about the type of business he runs. He did go on to clear out the dryer duct (which was so badly in need we hadn't been using it weeks). He took the time to show me the issues, explain the process along the way, and perform the job with great care and precision. He addressed both the duct and the dryer vent itself, then once the cleaning was completed he tested to ensure that the level of air pressure leaving the vent was of a sufficiently high standard (as he was concerned about the way the duct appeared to be compressed in parts). Paul and Mariela were great and we could not recommend them more highly. We've had a lot of work done on our house over the years. Many contractors have been selected on the basis of good reviews here on HomeStars. Unfortunately, not all of them were deserving of their rating. The Duct Cleaning Specialists not only lived up to expectations but exceeded them. No one likes having to deal with a problem in their home, myself included. But I am comforted by the fact that the next time a duct issue arises I have Paul and Mariela to call on.

Steve and Paul came to my home yesterday and were very friendly and professional. I had actually asked for a more expensive service but they were honest and told me I didn't need that service yet! What other company would do that?? They spent time showing me and educating me about how to keep everything a bit cleaner - all tips and tricks I can do myself. Thank you both so much! I will for sure call you again!

This company is amazing. They are very friendly, respectful and professional. I like that I could communicate using email and Paul would respond immediately. Paul and his partner showed up on time, explained in detail what they were going to do, and respected my house. After the job, they cleaned after themselves. I actually thought they left my house cleaner than it originally was. The pricing was reasonable, they thoroughly cleaned my ducts and took pictures to show me. The before and after pictures made me feel really good that I chose this company. They offered bonus features like cleaning my air filters for free. These filters were so dirty beyond repair. Paul offered temporary filters for FREE!!! The Duct cleaning Specialist were worth every penny!! Now I don't have to clean my ducts for the next 5 years. My family was so grateful, we can feel the difference in the air circulating in our house. Thank you Duct cleaning specialists.

Very Professional! Would recommend to my friends and family. Excellent job. Showed up on time, very clean, they even took off their shoes (we didn't even ask). Very happy we went with them.

We had the Duct Cleaning Specialists in to clean our ducts following an extensive renovation to our house. The team showed up on time, was done the job within 3 hours and was so clean that it was impossible to know that they had ever been at work in our house. We had other contractors working in the house that day and the team from Duct Cleaning Specialists was immediately cooperating with the existing contractors and finding ways that both teams could continue to work. On top of being on time, clean, professional and on budget the team from Duct Cleaning Specialists was also friendly, cheerful and easy to work with. They were a pleasure to work, I'll be using them again when I next need to clean my ducts and would happily recommend them to anyone looking to have their ducts cleaned.

A friend recomended this company to me. As a building contractor myself, I was in a jam to get the ducts cleaned in a house I that was renovating the basement. The owner began having a reaction every time the furnace came on . The Duct Cleaning specialist came through quickly for me and did an amazing job. Mark and Johnny did great job. They are very friendly and patient. We feel the difference right after the cleaning completed. Specially thanks to Johnny, he answers all my questions regarding on the furnace and show me how to clean the electronic filter. Also, the bill stay as same as the quote, no surprise charge. :)

Having gone through three bathroom renovations and noticing more dust than usual, we called the Duct Cleaning Specialists thinking our ducts must be very dirty. This is the second time we have called on their service. Just like the first time, their service was excellent. Paul and his assistant dropped by and checked out our venting system and advised us our vents were still very cleaned from the last time they cleaned them a couple of years ago. So it would be a waste of our money to get them cleaned again. Instead Paul and his assistant vacuumed all the vents and disinfected the vent system and provided lots of helpful tips to cut down on the dust. Now that’s excellent customer service for you. We will definitely use their service again and highly recommend this company to anyone wanting to have their ducts cleaned.
