    Duct cleaning

    The interaction started with Mariela, the company's administrative assistant. She communicated with us about different pricing options, and when the appointment had to be moved due to schedule maintenance of their trucks, she called and was able to accommodate our time request. Adrian and Nick came to our place, and they were friendly. The first thing they did was they took their shoes off, very respectful of our place. Then they proceeded to clean our ducts, explaining what they were doing throughout. We also had a baby at home, and they would close doors to minimize machine noises as to not disturb our 6-month old. Finally, they returned everything as they found it, no garbage, nothing out of place. Thanks for your hard work, Nick and Adrian! We highly recommend The Duct Cleaning Specialists.

    Duct Cleaning

    We recently moved into our house and noticed that there was saw dust and other building particles in our vents. Having never used a duct cleaning company previously, we went with the recommendations from HomeStars. Needless to say, we are completely satisfied with the Duct Cleaning Specialists team of Nick & Adrian. They went above and beyond to ensure we were satisfied with their work which included helping diagnose an issue with a blocked vent. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

    Duct Cleaning

    A few weeks ago, we contacted Paul at “The Duct Cleaning Specialists.” We had just recently moved to Toronto from BC and in the weeks prior to the move had watched “CBC Marketplace” and its expose on Toronto duct cleaners. The task of finding a good, dependable and honest duct cleaner seemed as if it might be a difficult task. Paul and the Duct Cleaning Specialists” was recommended to us by Spring Heating, a company we had done business with and who we trusted. I spoke to Paul about my concerns and joked with him about the Marketplace report. He assured me that his crew would do a great job and a great job they did do. Mark and Ryan were the technicians. They were polite and super friendly. They told me what they were planning to do and when asked explained how their equipment worked. I was a little skeptical that their equipment would be able to clean the ducts. They had not been cleaned in years and had a heavy accumulation of dirt and dust. Mark and Ryan set up their equipment, turned on a massive vacuum in the back of their van and went to work. One piece of equipment that was really neat was a multi-tip “whip” that was air-driven. It spun at relatively high speeds and whipped those ducts clean. Our cold air returns are located between rough swan floor joists that were just covered and jammed-packed with dirt. With the whip the crew whipped the returns clean. I had a good look before and after the cleaning and the wood look like it had just been nailed in place by the time the cleaning was done. The crew was in the house for about two hours and when they were done, Mark and Ryan cleaned up so well you could hardly tell they’d been in the house. Since the cleaning, airborne dust has been reduced and air quality has improved. The “Duct Cleaning Specialists” are the real deal. They do great work and I’ll bet they will never be on a Marketplace Special Report. Mark and Ryan, thanks for a great job. Paul, you have a good crew.

    duct cleaning

    Paul and John arrived on time, introduced themselves, brought necessary equipment in and proceeded with duct cleaning. They were courteous, respectful of our house and extremely proficient at keeping dust to a minimum. They also cleaned the area they were working after completing cleaning. Paul offered suggestions as to type of furnace filters and humidifier baffles to use. I would recommend Paul and his team with reservation and add they are excellent value for cost.

    Duct cleaning

    I was looking for a duct cleaning company online and came across Homestars. On further reading the reviews on The Duct Cleaning Specialists, I decided to go with them without even doing any price comparison. To me, peace of mind is most important since I am an asthma patient. I emailed the office and got a email reply right away. Mariela was really helpful in answering my questions. An appointment was set up right away. I got a phone call reminding me of my appointment from Mariela the day before and Nick and Adrian came to my place at 9 am sharp on the day of the appointment. They were friendly, polite and explained to me the the whole process of duct cleaning and answered all of my questions. I have a high velocity system at home with more than 40 vents across my home and I expected to pay the basic charge + all the extra vents. But Nick and Adrian told me that for high velocity system, they only do intake vents since cleaning of the small circular air vents is not necessary - because there is a flexible hose behind each small vent which may be damaged by cleaning tools. I was charged only the basic cost. The whole process was fast, thorough and clean. I didn't see any dust on the floor after the process. Nick and Adrian also gave me good tips about the air filter and disinfection to help my asthma. My whole family felt the difference in air quality after the cleaning and we all had a good night of sleep. Thanks Nick and Adrian for a job well done. I shall definitely recommend The Duct Cleaning Specialist to my friends.

    Duct cleaning

    We recently had our basement finished and thought we should have our ducts cleaned. Paul arrived on time to do the work and inspected our duct work first. He showed me the insides of the ducts and they weren't close to being dirty. So he said he could spray a disinfectant for now and said to call them back in a few years time. I appreciated his knowledge and honesty and I will be calling The Duct Cleaning Specialists in a few years time.

    Duct Cleaning

    I was sure I needed duct cleaning. Paul proved to me I didn't so instead of just doing it and charging the full $400 he did some maintenance and charged $85 - That's an honest pro for you! I won't be calling any other company for duct cleaning!

    Duct cleaning for a Bungalow

    when people ask "Do you know a good Duct Cleaning company?" My answer now is YUP! Lead by Paul, from my first telephone discussion to the actual onsight work, The Duct Cleaning Specialists deliverd: - Great Customer Service - Great onsight service and a, - Great quality job. Mark and John were very informative when at my house, and did a terrific job, even exceeding my expectations in terms of the service provided. I did my homework, got educated as best I could and then made the call. I read the homestars reviews, but when it came to decision time, the choice was really quite easy to make. This work was part of a major renovation that I was doing, and it was supposed to be the last thing on my list. Well as all renovations go, I had to juggle the schedule for this work, and despite the rings i made the staff go through, they never once let it show and were always accomodating...that was very much appreciated. These are not the telemarketers that annoy you at dinner time offering you a promo price, this is a quality run business with defined processes...that was easy to see. Thanks Mark & John and to everyone else. Great price, and thanks for the whole team for taking the stress out of this part of my renovation. You have a customer for life and a walking promoter for anyone that asks.

    Duct, furnace, and AC coil cleaning

    We had just purchased a house as we are expecting very soon and had major renovations done to the house. When I called, they were already booked for a good 1-2 weeks but when I told them I was hoping to move in within a week they were able to squeeze us in. Paul and Mariela were punctual, professional, polite, friendly, and down to earth. They were very respectful of our property, they took off their shoes, laid a tarp/cloth down to protect our floor (from front door down to the basement) and put up corner guards to protect our walls from their cleaning hose. They were super thorough with cleaning each duct, Paul would clean the duct then take pictures down the duct to be sure that he got everything out. They did not leave any mess when they were done. The pair were also very helpful in explaining what they were doing and why, they encouraged me to ask questions as well as they were working. I'm glad we got our ducts cleaned, they found sandwhich and food wrappers stuck in our ducts and near the furnace and ac coils. I feel a lot better now knowing that our house is totally clean and ready for our baby that is on the way! Thank you so much for the excellent service!!!

    Air Duct Cleaning

    (D1053) I am really happy that I hired Paul and Steve to clean my air duct. It was a pleasure to deal with them from start to finish. All equipments looked well maintained. They were very professional and made sure I know everything they were doing. Whole cleaning process was done thoroughly and I learned some useful tips from them. I have already recommend them to my brother-in-law and definitely recommend to people who need air duct cleaning.
