    First time duct cleaning - very impressed

    After moving to a new home just over 2 years ago, we decided that a thorough duct cleaning was in order. I was very skeptical about the service initially as I often receive phone calls during the dinner hour for duct cleaning services by individuals who seem like they may be phoning from another continent - but I digress. Using the HomeStars website was easy and I was contacted by a few companies through the inquiry process. One of them was The Duct Cleaning Specialists. After reading through their reviews and multiple messages with Paul - who was very responsive and answered all of my questions quickly, we decided on The Duct Cleaning Specialists. They were able to accommodate our preferred schedule - mainly due to our 1.5 year old. Mark and Johnny arrived promptly at 9 am. Mark explained what would be done and asked me to take him to the furnace room - luckily no cutting of the ducts needed to be done, which probably shortened the overall time of the job. Both Mark and Johnny moved quickly and efficiently through our home, taking care and being mindful of the space. They cleaned up all their equipment and left the vents, windows and spaces clear of debris when they were finished. Even the furnace filter was replaced! Both were very courteous and friendly to chat with. My wife and I were very impressed with the service and all three of us can breathe a little easier now. We highly recommend Paul and The Duct Cleaning Specialists.

    Duct cleaning

    They were absolutely amazing! Great service, attention to detail and cost was the best out there! I notice a huge difference in the efficiency of my furnace and air flow! I would recommend these guys to anyone in a heart beat!

    Condo dryer vent cleaning

    I chose The Duct Cleaning Specialists after speaking with Paul. He was the only person of the 4 companies I called who asked questions to better understand my particular situation, including requesting that I text him photos of the dryer and exhaust vent. He arrived within the specified 2 hour window. He cleaned out the lint from our dryer vent and didn't even charge us because it wasn't as big of a job as anticipated. He educated us about how to maintain/clean out the dryer vent ourselves in the future. I had also asked him about cleaning the ducts in our condo. He informed us that our type of forced air HVAC system doesn't typically requiring cleaning which saved us another $300 dollars. I was impressed with his honesty and integrity. As a result of this experience I will definitely be a long-term customer and have arranged for dryer vent cleaning in a couple of other condo units. Update: I asked Paul to clean out the dryer vents and inspect the ducts for cleaning for 2 other condo units. As with my previous experience, I found Paul to be very professional. He kept me informed with his arrival time. He inspected the dryer vent and HVAC systems. After inspection he indicated they did not require extensive cleaning. I liked his honesty -- he did not attempt to convince me to pay for a service that he felt was not necessary, despite the time required for him to drive downtown. He provided useful, practical advice about how to maintain the dryer vent, keep the HVAC system clean and improve the air quality in the units. I am thoroughly impressed with my experience with Paul of the Duct Cleaning Specialists and would highly recommend his company.

    Duct cleaning

    Job well done... Professional, punctual, courteous, thorough guys like "old school" service. Knowledgeable and hard working techs answered all my questions and addressed my concerns without any attempt to upsell or intimidate. Highly recommended!

    May have saved our house (and lives)! Use this service!!

    Paul was so great to work with. I absolutely recommend this service and this team. They worked tireless and went above and beyond to ensure that my dryer was safe to use. After they discovered that it had been incorrectly installed and there was 4 years of lint built up inside the machine, they fixed everything. I just keep thinking that I was using the machine and smelling smoke and if it hadn't have been for them that lint could have started a fire. I can't say enough good things about them and especially Paul. Don't hesitate, hire this service!

    Another great experience!

    I called The Duct Cleaning Specialists again after a great experience with them three years ago and once again, they were awesome! Professional, trustworthy, committed to quality and their customers, on time and great to deal with. Top marks all round!

    Duct Cleaning (Dryer)

    Paul & company has been doing duct cleaning (dryer) in my apartment for a number of years. He is always punctual, thorough and cleans up after the work is completed. Reliable and competent - highly recommended.

    duct cleaning

    i selected them based on reviews here. Didn't even shop around - they gave me a quote quickly, and showed up when they said they would. They had clean equipment and knew what they were doing. They also gave me a couple of good tips to keep my ducts clean moving forward. I would recommend them to family and friends.

    Gas dryer vent cleaning

    I am so impressed with this company. They responded to my enquiry within hours, they submitted their estimate two hours after that and were at my house within 72 hours to complete the job. They were friendly, efficient, and professional. They walked me through the procedure, showing me what they had done and why. They made the whole experience stress free. Thanks again. I highly recommend The Duct Specialists. Would use them again in a second.

    Amazing experience!

    Such a pleasure to deal with. Fit me into their schedule so quickly. My ducts hadn’t ever been cleaned in the 9yrs since it was built. The guys were so respectful of my home. Super informative and friendly. I would absolutely recommend the duct cleaning specialists to anyone!!!!
