    duct cleaning & sanitizing

We met the lead technician for Canaduct when he just down the road at our neighbour's house. He came over to inspect our duct work upon completion. He was amiable, honest & knowledgeable and so we called Louise the same day to book the appointment. Paul arrived punctually, worked systematically, had the work completed in under 2 hours. Canaduct is very professional and I have no hesitation recommending them.

What an awesome experience with Alex, the Canaduct technician who performed duct cleaning in our Bolton home. He was very polite, walked us through the procedure and his work was so thorough. We are both impressed and pleased. Thank you Canaduct.

    Duct cleaning

WARNING - I was offered a $10 Tim card from Canaduct if I gave Canaduct a 10 Star(2 X 5 Star) rating - but only if I gave them a 10 Star rating! Makes me suspect the 'good' reviews I read before calling Canaduct. Wish we never used Canaduct. Also wish we could get part of our money back. Paul did not arrive on time. He was supposed to arrive between 1-3pm and arrived after 3:20pm. I rushed home from Etobicoke to be home before 1pm. Moved quickly through the home. Too quickly and left a mess in our ensuite, several screws on the basement floor where he hooked up his vacuum and also didn't properly seal the duct work after using his vacuum. He tried to use the old tape that was there from several years ago. Either he didn't have the proper duct tape or didn't feel like going to his truck to get it. Wouldn't be writing this review, but for some reason Canaduct/HomeStars keeps emailing me to give Canaduct a 10 Star rating. In fact Canaduct had a review ALL written out for me to simply send in, which was filled with praise for their work, which I could not agree to. In conclusion, I could/would not recommend Canaduct to anyone. HomeStars and Canaduct Please stop emailing me as well.

Trades have learned that it is rare that customers will offer a review. While we offer a suggested review detailing the work experience, ultimately the customer has complete control on its use, editing and rating. We offer a gift card, which today is a mainstream practice of pro-active advertising used by millions of businesses worldwide. It is a polite and acceptable way to say thank you to our customers and 99.99% are grateful to receive our little gift. Home Stars themselves offer a $20 gift card. Yes Danny, we were only 20 minutes late, and called you when we were on the way. Toronto city streets are usually under construction, and we try hard to arrive on time. Our technicians move quickly through the work, because they can. Each has over a decade of experience, and each move they make has been honed to perfection without sacrificing quality of workmanship. Unlike the competition, our trucks are the most powerful on the market and allow our technicians to move quickly. Our customers appreciate and admire this skill, so that they can quickly return to the routines of home life. We secure plates to duct work using self-tapping screws in the manner prescribed by NADCA. Securing with tape is redundant. Our business practices are not determined by those used by our competition. It would seem that you failed to notice the screws on the floor that were there prior to our arrival. They may have been repositioned by the technician's footwork. In conclusion, if you are a customer who is looking for a company that uses small trucks with a small amount of power, has inexperienced technicians that move slowly and lack experience, are not members and do not follow NADCA procedures, and fail to express gratitude for the business extended to them, then please do not call CanaDuct as Danny from Mississauga has recommended.

    Duct cleaning

I was particularly concerned with dust in the home due to the duct cleaning, but when I saw the truck and felt the power of the vacuum, I was set at ease. The technician was very detailed in his work and I was very pleased with his professional manner. I sincerely doubt that there is a more powerful duct cleaning truck on the market. I was glad that they were able to come out as far as Burlington.

    Answer from pro:

Our full-sized trucks deliver the maximum amount of raw vacuum and compressed air power available on the market today. The 12-bag, flip-top Dura Vac carries a 300 HP turbo diesel engine with an amazing top end delivery of 30,000 CFM, partnered with a Quincy air compressor that max's out at 300 PSI !!

    duct, furnace & AC cleaning

It was a pleasure having Paul come to my Milton home to perform the duct cleaning and furnace service. We were neighbors in Markham about 13 years ago, and my dad would frequently spend time chatting with him. When I learned he was the lead technician for Canaduct Cleaning through a friend who recommended their services, I was looked forward to seeing him again after 13 years.Today, he appeared older, but wiser. He did a great job and I have now arranged to have Canaduct return on an annual basis for regular furnace and air conditioning maintenance. Thank you Paul. See you soon.

    duct cleaning & sanitizing

We recently took up residence in a lovely home in Thornhill. A healthy home is priority one with special consideration for our little boy who has just begun to walk. The veteran technician from Canaduct performed a full inspection, walked me through some important points on the furnace including how to maintain a clean filter and changing the humidifier pad once/year. This was a positive experience I can recommend.

    Answer from pro:

Thank You Steve for the 10 Star Review Duct cleaning should be done every 2-4 years to improve air quality in the home for you family.

    duct, furnace & AC cleaning

I originally planned to have just the duct cleaning done. The technician from Canaduct told me that most annual furnace cleaning plans with big name companies, do not cover cleaning of the AC coil. Which is really a shame, because ALL air must pass through it, whether it be cool air or warm. Many forms of mold love this atmosphere, in addition Listeria, a bacterium that thrives in air conditioners. Of course, I had Paul clean it up; for a modest price I might add. Hope my short story is beneficial to the next reader.

Margit excellent review and Thank You from all of us at Canaduct.

    duct cleaning & sanitizing

The Canaduct duct cleaner arrived at the appointed time at my new home; a real fixer-upper. His equipment was really impressive and obviously very powerful. He explained what he was going to do, then went right to work. The return vent in floor in the hallway was so bad, he had to separate the vacuum hoses, push it into the vent, then use attachable whips and rods to suck up the years of filth. The vents hadn't been cleaned in about 30 years. He sanitized the system when he was finished cleaning. The price was very reasonable for the great work he did. He earned his tip and of course, this review.

    Duct cleaning after renovations

Back in Sept Paul came in and cleaned the ducts. I saw what came out of there from old owners. did good job except he almost forgot to close the opening he made to the furnice vent. Then in Nov when we turned the heat on, no air was coming out from 2 vents in my daughters bedroom.they worked before when AC was on. Called him early Nov to come back adn see if he moved connections while cleaning the vents. Paul came back today and in a very professional manner he checked my daughter's room once again and with some adjustments on the air flow through the furnace, and some useful advise to re-direct the air flow through the vents, we got improvement on the temperature. I would definitely call him again on my next duct cleaning.
