    Repairs to my hot water baseboard heating system

    My daughter highly recommended The Gentlemen Plumbers, and I was very impressed with the performance of Jesse De, the technician who tested and repaired my hot water baseboard heating system. During the assignment, he was hardworking, conscientious, competent, and polite, and I intend to request his services in the future.

    Plumbing

    Very polite,showed me where the problem was coming from and fast to get the job done. Would use again for sure

    Outdoor Tap installation

    The tap was installed correctly and is working fine. This company shows up when they say they will and are very professional, indeed, in their customer dealings. Highly recommended.

    Bath tub tap replacement

    Had bathtub tap replaced. Didn’t mention on the phone when booking if supplying own tap there is no warranty. Didn’t find out til plumber showed up. So continued anyway cause I needed it done that day. Tap wouldn’t stop dripping after unless you turned the tap harder. Well now a couple weeks later and I’m probably gonna have to pay someone more money to fix what they charged me $550 for...

    Managed to fix my silly mistake without making fun of me, which I likely deserved.

    toilet backup. required replacement

    Slow running toilet. started to leak when plunging. caused backup in main drain. toilet was lifted. line augered and cleared. toilet replaced. serviceman had to leave to pick up toilet. Brian was honest, cheerful. educated and explained at each step. cleaned up thoroughly after completion

    Hot water tank replacement

    Tech arrived within 20 mins of my initial call on a Saturday. Credited me 1100 due to a unnecessary previous repair done by a former tech with their company. Stayed until 1 am to finish and arrived promptly the next morning to finish the job. Thanks Nick!

    Water leak

    Called in as I had a leak in my kitchen ceiling coming from my tub. I received next day service. Estimate made and work done same day. Adam was very thorough with his explanations and fees associated with work to be done. Only disappointment was they don’t fix the hole they needed to cut to work on the repair. Otherwise very professional and prompt service.

    Plumbing - Loud Knocking Sound in Pipes

    We had significant water hammer, echoing through the pipes. The Gentlemen Plumbers analyzed the problem and fixed it.

    Replace main shut off valve in basement.

    Replaced main shut off valve in basement which meant Epcor had to come out and shut off water first. Plumber coordinated well with them and did wonderful job. Gentlemen Plumbers also responded to urgency of situation as I was going away Next day for two weeks and could not leave house with leaky basement.
