    Well done home inspection in Calgary NW!

    Mike Holmes wrote, “You should expect quality and integrity in a normal home inspection. … You can expect a home inspector to give you a thorough assessment of every single part of any home and help you understand what it means.” [The Holmes Inspection, p. 2, 2008] The inspector, a journeyman carpenter and RHI, from Accurate Home Inspection did the inspection at a reasonable cost when my son recently purchased a home in the NW. I participated in the walk through and learned a few things myself. Thanks for a job well done!!

    Home Inspection

    The inspector was awesome. I am a first time home buyer. Once the appointment was booked they arranged everything else (contacted the relators, sent me reminders, let me know exactly what I needed to do). During the appointment they took the time to explain what they found to me, provided suggestions and grate documentation for me to review after the fact.

    Home inspection

    Very happy with the house inspection, particularly the level of communication before, during and after. Would definitely use them again.

    Home Inspection

    I was very impressed with the home inspection I got from Accurate Home Inspection. From the initial phone call to the final detailed report, everything was thorough and professional. The inspector started the inspection by walking on the roof looking for any shingle damage or leaks. They also can do drone fly-overs if room access is not possible. Then the inspector entered the attic and worked all the way down to the basement. The price included a full thermal scan and many tips and advice to help me as the future home owner. There were things discovered that I would have never suspected had I not gotten the inspection. I was impressed and will certainly recommend them to others.

    Home Inspection

    The inspector was very professional and the experience was nothing but positive. It was our first home, so we greatly appreciated the fact that we were encouraged to stay for the whole duration and participate in the inspection. We also received a little pamphlet with various repair prices that the inspector put together from experience. Communications were fast and efficient, we have nothing but good things to say.

    Thorough but poor customer retention

    Have used this company a year ago and the rates went up alot. Inspection was thorough and explained properly. Website states a discount as we are a repeat client. They took 25$ off the inspection but then did not leave the nice folder for us as they did with the previous house we had inspected. The owner said she gave us the 25$ discount instead of the folder... Would have gotten 5 stars except for the poor customer service. I am a business owner and trust me. Its the small things that count. Kevin

Although I would like to address your other concerns: Yes, our price has gone up slightly but you actually paid 3% less for this inspection compared to your first inspection because of the repeat client discount of $25. I’m sorry that I didn’t realize that the folder was that important to you, I will send you one in the mail and I will ensure that all future customers get a second folder as well, as they are quite handy. Thank you for bringing this concern to our attention, it is good feedback. Also the HomeStars Ranking is out of 10 not 5, we’re hoping you meant to leave an 8/10 as that equates to a 4/5 as your wording suggests. :-) We sincerely hope we can work together again.

    Home Inspection

    Accurate Home Inspection was great! The Inspector showed up on time, was efficient and extremely knowledgeable. All areas of the home were looked at, deficiencies found and noted. I received the report quickly and was able to discuss the results in detail. I would definitely recommend Accurate to everyone. Thank you!

    Southwood Bungalow pre-Purchase Inspection

    Accurate's inspector came on time to the appointment, was personable, qualified, and competent, and performed a thorough and detailed inspection of all critical areas of this 50-yo home. Beyond a review of all major items, a number of small deficiencies were also illuminated. None of these small issues impacted my decision to purchase, but I was very happy to have a 'to do' list of minor deficiencies to work on once I take possession. Accurate Home Inspections provided timely and thorough service at a competitive price, and is highly recommended.
