We had water leaking into our house because the chimney cover was blown off at some point. Neither the insurance adjuster nor the contractors they sent were able/willing to give us a quote. Instead they kept being vague about the whole situation and, because there was a bit of mould involved, made it sound really complicated and expensive. I got really frustrated and decided to hire my own inspector. Looked at Homestars and picked this top-ranking company, they were extremely friendly and very honest - turned out that it wasn't even a quarter as serious as we were misled to believe it was. They even gave me lots of helpful tips on fixing small problems (some of them were not even related to the damage) in the most cost-efficient ways. I'm VERY glad that I've called them; it was money well-spent.

The inspector from Accurate Home Inspections was very friendly and quite knowledgable. Fortunately the house that we had inspected did not have a lot of problems, however they were able to catch some small issues that I believe other inspectors would've missed, such as not having proper insulation in the roof and noticing that the humidifier filter wasn't cleaned. I would highly recommend Accurate Home Inspections for your home inspections, they are well worth the money.

Hey I would have called Mike H to do my inspection but of course he is out fighting the cause. So I did the next best thing and called on Accurate Home Inspection and the results were comforting. What I mean is that I was stressed out about the house i was buying and Accurate Home Inspection gave me the confidence I needed to move forward with this huge commitment. The inspector was really knowledgeable, helpful and very diligent. This being our 4th house that we plan to buy, we were very impressed. Awesome inspector who encouraged me to follow around while the inspection took place. Learned a lot, especially concerning contractors who don't know all of the codes that they should. Just because it looks good doesn't necessarily mean its done right. This is our second inspection with Accurate and it wont be our last!

Very good experience. I was able to get me an appointment when I wanted even though it was on short notice. The inspection was thorough and I was given detailed answers to all of the questions I asked. The inspector was friendly and punctual. No issues at all, the price was withing average and payment was easy. I would definitely recommend Accurate Home Inspections to others.
