ROOF REPLACEMENT
In August this year (2014) we had our roof replaced by City 1 Roof Works. We interviewed four best rated companies, and selected City 1 Roof Works as best suited to our way of doing a home renovation project. The deciding factor when compared to other three companies is the fact that all of the reviews were earned by the same people as they basically have one team doing all the projects. We learned the hard way, and on more then one occasion, that with a large company even the one with excellent customer rating, you are always running the risk of getting their 'C' or even 'D' qualified team if they get too busy. The second important factor was the true emphasis on quality of work, as well as materials used . While setting the contract up, Danny took extra care to include all of the changes, add-ons, specific details, extras we requested. They delivered on all of the details, and then some ... Outstanding attitude, workmanship, work ethics, customer appreciation. It started with Danny squeezing us into his already busy schedule ahead of the time specified in our contract. Our 13 year old roof with many valleys, had three significant leaks, that we continued fixing year after year, and which became active yet again... Danny was aware of this, and decided to help us out, as soon as the opportunity presented itself. His hard working team lead by Chuck really took outstanding care of our project. We knew the water damage on our roof deck was bad - more then half of the wood had to be replaced. Still regardless of the daunting work scope, Danny's team did so much more . They fixed poorly made mounting of our fascia in many places, replaced existing baffles and added new ones where none were present before, added ventilation holes in our fully closed inner wood soffits, added insulation sheets, and I could go on.... Chuck even returned next week to add a flashing we did not previously agree on, at no extra charge, and he also replaced a couple of damaged shingles we did not even notice. It is October now, and we had many days with heavy rain - all our trouble spots are holding tight ! Danny, please send our best regards to all of your guys !!
