    Roof Replacement

    When we developed a leak in our roof last winter, I needed someone to do the repair as soon as possible. I checked HomeStars for a company with an excellent rating and found Roofs on Homes. Danny came out immediately, identified the problem area and had the issue fixed immediately. He also recommended that we plan to replace our roof before the following winter. Just to be safe, we interviewed and received quotes from three companies. None of the others were able to come close to Danny’s quote, nor did they take the time to identify other issues, such as inadequate venting, in our 40 year old home. Choosing Roof on Homes was a simple decision. On the day of the roof replacement, the crew worked quickly, effectively and left the property spotless when they left at the end of the day. We live in a semi-detached and when Danny and his team noticed an issue on my neighbour’s side of the roof, they contacted her for permission and made the repair while they were on site. This level of service not only prevented my neighbour from having to have someone out at a later date, it also pre-empted any damage which may have happened to either of our houses as a result of the problem. I highly recommend Roofs on Homes for any repair or replacement job. They provide quality workmanship at affordable pricing with a focus on customer service!

    New Roof Installation

    Roofs on Homes is deserving of their excellent rating on HomeStars. Roofs on Homes was one of the 3 companies I interviewed to replace my roof due to the wear and tear over the winter. I picked them because of their HomeStars reviews (at first I was a little skeptical that they could be so good) and I found out that a former neighbour had used them and was very pleased. Of the companies I interviewed, Danny from Roofs on Homes was the most knowledgeable and took the time to explain the options and reasoning behind them. I thought the price was fair for the options I chose (higher end shingles, full roof underlayment, upgraded vents). He was always very punctual with email replies which I appreciated. He had the area where some roof tiles had fallen off over the winter temporarily patched as my roof replacement wasn't scheduled for several weeks later. Chuck and the crew did an excellent job replacing our roof and I can't be more pleased. I'm pretty picky and was home during the installation and found the crew were very professional and friendly. It was also evident that they took pride in their work. The cleanup was spotless. In summary, I would highly recommend Danny and Roofs on Homes. I was so pleased with their work that, strangely enough, I was actually happy to pay for the new roof. 8-)

    New Roof

    We had a leak in our roof and wanted to get it fixed asap. After researching the important features in a new roof and getting 5 quotes, we decided to go with Roof on Homes and we are very happy that we did. Roof on Homes installed a new roof on our house in July 2014. Danny and his team were fantastic. Danny was very thorough in explaining what the job would entail, providing references, and answering my questions. The crew was punctual, they worked very hard in a 40 degree heat wave and they did a great job cleaning up afterwards. I would recommend Roof on Homes to anyone looking for a roof replacement.

    Roof reparations

    After a leak in the roof I hired a contractor to re-shingle. Within three years I ended up calling the same contractor 4 times to fix the issue with no remedy, that's when I stumbled upon Roofs on Homes' reviews here on Homestars. Chuck came out and fixed every fault that he could find and ensured us that if something came up he would fix it under his warranty. Well six months later the leaked happened again and Chuck came by to visit and concluded that the problem was never our roof to begin with and it was our neighbours vent that was giving us the issue. Chuck fixed my neighbours vent which was the cause for my problems and did it under his warranty even though he didn't have to do so. His motto is to fix a customers roof as he would his mama's! he didn't disappoint. Chuck is passionate about roofing and kind of a shingling nerd (and I mean that as a great compliment). I will never hesitate to recommend Chuck and his team at roofs on homes. Lastly, the scheduler Marie (I may have gotten the name wrong) was prompt professional and courteous and made the experience all the more pleasant.

    Roofing

    Several years ago we used City 1 Roof Works and were very satisfied with the work they did on our roof. Recently however we noticed water leaks on the floor below and I suspected the flat roof above. Chuck came out immediately and after a brief inspection declared the roof fit and sound. But luckily for me, he didn't stop there (many might say 'not my problem') and he decided to help me locate the problem. It was the neighbour's poorly installed vinyl wall that was leaking water into the common wall. He even gave me some caulking to prove the problem and even better charged me a big fat ZERO and 2 glasses of cold water for his time and efforts - I definitely recommend this company based on their quality and concern for the consumer.

    Roof repair

    What a great experience. The team was professional and I will use again without a doubt. They did a great job! The job was done in perfect timing as we had out of country guests arriving. Thanks to all the workers that ensured this was done on time.

    Roof Replacement

    I am sure many of you will agree it's not so much getting the best price but more so getting the best contractor to do the job right. Roofs on Homes is that contractor you are looking for. What an amazing experience from the day I picked up the phone to the day I signed the invoice once the job was completed. Danny (the owner) is a perfect example to what customer service is all about. Professional, courteous, patient, trustworthy, and the list goes on. He and his crew were punctual, the price was reasonable and the clean-up was phenomenal. If you are looking for a company that will listen to your needs and provide excellent workmanship you found them. Give Roofs on Homes a call and see for yourself, I am sure you will agree.     new roof

    we had 6 other companies quote replacing our roof. This company was not the cheapest but we wanted good service and good quality. The crew were organized courteous and efficient. We are very satisfied with our new roof. We feel we choose the best people for the job. We would recommend them .

    Roofing

    If you scroll down through the reviews, you'll find find mine about 2 years ago where City 1 replaced the roof of the home I had just purchased. I recently had to contact them again and wanted to write about it. I called them for help after noticing one of my shingles had come loose. They sounded very concerned and came over very quickly to make the repair. Turned out I had a critter damaging my shingles. So they did a temporary repair and provided me with some solutions to help. Now, the roof is permanently repaired. They took such great care and I'm thrilled to bits on how they helped and handled my problem. I have no doubt that if the shingle had been just loose, they would have honoured their promised warranty. As a result, I very highly recommend City 1. I can't imagine hiring anyone else.

    Re-roofing

    Danny was very professional and knowledgeable. He did a satellite picture of our roofing and gave us a good estimate for re-roofing. When I informed of my urgency, he did my roofing within a week. The people were nice and courteous and they did an excellent job of cleaning afterwards.
