    Roof replacement

    This company was referred to me by my co-worker. Danny gave me and 3 of my neighbors very reasonable estimates. He took his time explaining the work that was to be done on the roof and answered all of our questions. I was pleased with the fact that they were able to start the job earlier than originally planed. Very knowledgeable, hardworking crew. Excellent work.

    new roof

    Back in June, we discovered that we had a leak in our roof .We did some research, recevied a few quotes and decided to go with Danny as he was very professional and knowledgable. He was extremely busy over the summer but he made time to fix the leak until he was able to replace the roof in September. We are very happy with the workmanship and would highly recommend Danny and his crew.

    Roof replacement

    My roof and the 3 in the homes attached to my house all needed replacing. Danny provided a complete estimate and his time did a great job on the install. Everything was explained & installed as promised.

    Repair and re-shingle roof

    We were hoping to put off our roof repair for another year, but the ugly water stain running all the way down our stairwell told us that it really couldn't wait. We called City 1 because of their excellent rating on HomeStars, and our high expectations were not disappointed. Danny's quote was consistent with the others we got. He was friendly and knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Unlike some operators who didn't even show up to give an estimate, Danny also followed up in a timely manner and stayed in touch. When I mentioned my leak, he sent someone right away to put a patch on it, and fast-tracked us through the scheduling. The workers were skilled and competent. They kept the place tidy and cleaned up all the debris and fallen shingle. They put down tarps and cleaned up thoroughly. Finally, I felt safe having these workers around. They were professional, polite and accommodating. They were also good-natured about my two small children staring at them intently through the upstairs windows. I would recommend City 1.

    new roof

    After speaking with many roofing copmany's, I chose City 1 Roof Works. They were reasonable as far as price, pleasant to deal with and they did a great job on the roof. I would definitely recommend them to family and friends.

    Roof replacement

    City 1 Roof Work executed roof replacement tasks deligently and most satisfactorily. Staff was very friendly, professional and most helpful. Worked here as if it was their own home. Our place and incluiding our neighbours property was left clean. They went on to to fix few other items of their free will without any extras. I would recommend them highly.

    Roof replacement

    Our roof seemed to deteriorate overnight with shingles falling off and the rain coming in. Danny sent someone over right away to fix the leaks. The next day he climbed up on the roof and then met with me to discuss what we needed to do, providing a comprehensive quote with all the background on materials and insurance etc that I needed. I talked with two other roofing companies and one gave me a quote that was much higher for much the same work and the other quote was lower but I worried about the workmanship. Also, we were going out of town and I wanted to get the roof done before we left, and Danny seemed confident he could get the job done on time. Danny kept me informed of his schedule, the weather cooperated, and Chuck and his team arrived on the day they said they would. They removed the old roof, replaced the sheathing in places where it had deteriorated and finished the whole roof that day. Neighbors were amazed at the organization and work ethic. Chuck even removed a significant amount of brickwork from the attic because it was blocking the soffits at a very reasonable price. The cleanup was impeccable and they even fixed my neighbor’s downspout as a way of thanking them for any inconvenience. City 1 was a pleasure to work with and I would highly recommend them. Mark

    Roof

    Danny and his team were very professional from start to finish. When I called for an appointment Danny came the very next evening. We talked and he gave me a quote and went through all the particulars to the different types of shingles and the materials used to the quality of the workmanship they provide. He presented very professionally all insurance policies, referrals and certifications they had. What impressed me was his professionalism and the care they provide with the quality of the work they do. I had several comments by neighbours on my roof and I can even see the difference in quality between my roof and the neighbours. They did a wonderful job and I am extremely happy. There was no mess left and they were fast and very efficient. Thanks Danny and Team. I would recommend them to anybody. Joan.

    Roof replacement

    I would definitely recommend Danny and the team for any roofing project. A couple of years ago we lost a shingle off our roof and called Danny to take a look. He did not try to sell us a new roof, but repaired it for a good price and told us we'd be ok for a couple of years yet. Lo and behold, it's two years later and we needed a new roof this spring. I called Danny for a quote. He spent the time to educate me. I did a ton more research and got three additional quotes. Danny's quote was in the middle of the pack. The cheaper quote was not worth pursuing because I couldn't research the company anywhere and they would have used inferior materials. The more expensive quotes were interesting because one of them would have done less than Roofs on Homes and the other one had a lot of bells and whistles I didn't feel were needed. Ok, now to the result. FANTASTIC. The guys were a pleasure to be around, the work was done on time, everything is plumb straight, the materials are good and the price was fair. Who could ask for more. Give these guys a shot. You won't regret it.

    Roof replacement

    We just got our roof replaced and are very happy with the job done. We got several estimates from several roofing companies. The lowest estimates were from companies that did not even climb up on our roof and they walked around the house and gave a quote in about 5 mins, they just wanted to get the business via a low price estimate. Danny came to our house and did a thorough inspection and recommended extra attic vents as well as re-leveling our eaves to make sure rain water is evacuated properly from the roof. I did the research about re-roofing but it was my wife who actually was present during the inspection and Danny did a good job in explaining in detail what was to be done.The price estimate provided by Danny was very competitive, just slightly higher than the lowest estimates but considering the fact that the it covered the extra vents and eaves re-leveling, the extra $ was justified. Also we decided to go with City 1 due to the fact that they use Certainteed Landmark shingles which is one of the best brands out there. They came on time as promised, finished the job in a timely manner, cleaned up all the debris around the house and on our neighbours' property too. We highly recommend City 1 Roof Works.
