    Replacement Air Conditioner

    We needed to replace our 17-year old Carrier A/C and it was done in a morning even though the coil in the furnace was not easy to remove due to the piping from the furnace.

    Needed new furnace, AC and hot water tank

    Needed new furnace, AC and hot water tank for my 1970 house, these guys were quick, courteous, and professional. I will use them again and recommend them to my friends.

    A/C & Furnace Installation

    After our ancient A/C started giving us problems we called Convertible Heating & Air Conditioning after receiving one of their flyers. Marnie arrived within 1 day after my call. She was very thorough, knowledgeable and sincere. After speaking with her we decided to replace the Furnace as well & so glad we made that decision. Installation was completed within a week by their 2 technicians whom were very professional & polite & left the areas immaculate! I will add that their quote was far better than the 3 other quotes we had received from other Dealers. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone who is looking for this service!

    A/C and Furnace Replacement

    Due to ours breaking down, we Needed a new A/C and Furnace, Chris was out to our home same day that we called -in a heat wave so this is very important to mention. We chose Convertible with confidence, we also interviewed a few other competitors. The crew arrived early and completed work early as well. Professional and qualified. Would recommend! Also important to note, they have 24/7 live assistance, even on Christmas.

    Furnace & A/C Replacement.

    I was living with a poorly matched furnace and a/c system from the early 1990's. They both worked, but winter was plagued with temperature swings and cold spots due to furnace over sizing and the a/c could never handle the extreme temperatures and humidity. I got 4 quotes before I came across a flyer from Convertible Air. Michael was over the same day to access the system and make recommendations. I had a lot of questions having gone through this process 4 times previously. He was knowledgeable and made recommendations that were different than previous quotes and could back them up with his extensive experience. Received an detailed quote the next day that was far better than all the rest. I did my research and accepted the offer. I knew this was not going to be an easy installation. A ninety year old Toronto home with little maneuvering room around the furnace and poorly designed duct connections to the plenum. Into this picture come Adam and Shawn. These 2 technicians were able to take a mess and turn it into a work of art. Over 2 days they installed the new equipment (Carrier Infinity 2 stage furnace and matching Carrier A/C) and also tolerated my incessant questions about everything they were doing. I found the entire process fascinating. They both have a very high degree of skill and knowledge. Something else that impressed me was the attention to detail. Everything had to be perfect and it was when they left. I am glad Convertible was the last company I called. Previous quotes were all over the map and equipment suggestions left me wondering what was the best way to go. I have only dealt with a total of 4 people at Convertible. One sales intake, one estimator and 2 techs. Every step was a very positive experience. I suspect that this is the company philosophy with everyone there.

    Furnace, AC & Humidifier Purchase & Installation

    We looked at a few places when we started considering replacing our old furnace and broken ac. A friend recommended Convertible so we gave them a call. Our purchase took quite sometime to finalize as my wife had her brother do a bit of research into the products we were considering. There was some back and forth about which products to go with but I found their pricing very competitive. Thank you again Marnie for being extremely helpful in answering my questions. I appreciated the installer, Adam, coming the day before to do an assessment to make sure everything we ordered could be installed without issues. On installation day or I should say days (lol) Adam and Sean did an excellent job. They installed everything neatly and tidied up. I must say I was very impressed by Adam. He took the time to look into some issues that came up with the installation including calling the manufacturer. He even said he learned a few things (loll) That impressed me the most. Why? Adam was not dismissive and could see my reasons for doing things a certain way. In my opinion, I think that makes him an even better installer. Everyone was courteous and knowledgeable and I would recommend Convertible to anyone looking for a new furnace or ac. Great job everyone!! Sean Woodbridge, On

    New furnace and A.C. installation

    Chris was very friendly and quick with a quote. Installed the same week I got a quote. Amazing!! Very satisfied with the installation of my Furnace and A.C. unit. The house is already feeling nice and cool within 30 minutes of them finishing. The crew of 3 worked hard for 6 hours and showed me their work and asked if I had questions. Nice Job!

    AC Replacement

    I had a really great experience with Convertible Air from the first telephone call to home quotation to the final installation or replacement of my old unit. I called Convertible after some research and reached Marnie who I thought was knowledgeable, and sincere person. Michael came to our house in Ajax (Durham) a day after to estimate what was needed and was a pleasure to deal with. He laid out the product choices to match the needs of my home (i.e. approx. 2500 sq ft house) and it basically took me 2 mins to decide to go with Convertible. I opted for the Lennox Armstrong brand 2.5 ton AC, the quote/price was the best on the market and above all, the AC unit looks excellent. It's very efficient from the time it takes to cool my home and for that large size AC, it's super quite. The installation was professional and the best part, let's say very accomodating. They came on time, were super quite, finished within 2 hours, cleaned up after the installation perfectly and briefed me on the 24/7 customer support model. I had a little bit of problem with the breaker switch as my new AC was a powerful one (and it was flipping) and drew more amps. Somebody from Convertible came quickly after I let them know, followed up on the updates and fixed the issue within a week. The experince was as smooth as possible. I have previously dealt with big names like Reliance before for my previous home and I can tell you that my first hand experience with Convertible was far far better and hugely satisfying than any other company I have dealth with.
