    American Standard Furnace and A/C

    Before installation met with knowledgeable Marnie who confirmed our good choice of picking American Standard. Installation by Kamil & James was very professional and organized. They further commended our brand decision and they themselves also had in their dwelling. They were late due to a dent in the new a/c unit and did not think the customer would approve. So they drove to pick up another unblemished unit. They both answer any questions I had and were respectful. Even asked permission to use the restroom. During the test phase after a long day, the a/c failed to turn on. DIligently they troubleshoot it to my thermostat. All in all, it was an amicable experience with Convertible.

    New AC Unit

    Our air conditioner died and we needed a new replacement. I contacted multiple agencies, and Chris was very quick in getting back to me. He came over the very next day to check things out. Gave a great quote, fully explaining the government rebate and all related stuff... All went well except the installer need to work on his customer services skills. He was upset when we asked him questions or watching him doing the work. Everything else went well.

    Furnace and A/C Replacement

    I always use HomeStars when looking for professionals for help with my home. I was thankful for all the reviews on Convertible Air. The reviews were great and I agree. My A/C was old and broken and it needed to be replaced. My furnace was getting up there in age and I was also considering upgrading. Marnie came to see me and walked me through the entire process. She is down-to-earth and doesn't use complicated jargon. I felt so comfortable that I booked within days. The guys arrived (on time) and did a fantastic job. They were polite, quick and clean. Thanks Convertible Air, now I can look forward to a cool summer.

    Furnace replacement

    I got the best deal from "Convertible Heating and AC" in comparison with 3 others. Besides that, they were so flexible to my needs and did exactly what I wanted. On the installation day, their team did it really fast, organized and highly professional. I give them the highest rate and call them again for my next installation or service.

    Air Condition Unit Installation

    I am really satisfy with my Air Condition install. My experience for Inquiring about Product to installation is very positive. Excellent workmanship and very competitive price. I highly Highly Recommended!

    American Standard AC

    We have American Standard AC installed by this company on July 1st 2017. They said that this is the best model on the market and of course the most expensive one. And we are experiencing constant problems with AC. Today we left home for the whole day. The AC was setup to 21 and when we came home it was 25.5. Plus there is a lot of ice inside AC (which is not normal) and the noise from AC is far above normal. Customer service is really bad. The only option is to left the VM. And we still have over 25 at home though the AC is setup to 21. So I left the VM, sent complaint through the contact form. My wife took day off for Monday. We'll see whether the technician will come and fix it or not. Later on I'll share this information too. Up to now the service is really, really bad.

    Alexander, I am very disappointed that you didn't even give us five minutes to deal with your problem before going to homestars. Who does that? you wrote this complaint after calling our office and leaving a voice mail Sunday. I know that because you also did a Google review late Sunday night -which our dispatcher responded to right away-because we were open at that time and you made that complaint without even knowing what the real issue was. We returned your call within moments on Sunday and sent out a technician the very next day. Since then we have been in constant contact with you and after diagnosing the issue we see that the problem does not have anything to do with the American standard air conditioner OR our workmanship! - it's your high velocity system (which is your furnace) that has an airflow issue. Yesterday our technician tested the pressure on the American standard air conditioner and on the high velocity coil and the pressures were perfect!!!! That means our equipment is working perfectly. The only other thing that can cause a coil to ice up is lack of air flow. We just reviewed the notes from your files installation last year, we see that our installer Roop advised you that YOUR high velocity furnace was having issues with airflow THEN, we told you this during the installation and Roop recommended that you replace your furnace. Roop said that you acknowledged his recommendation and agreed that you would look into it. He warned you that lack of air flow from the furnace blower will cause an air conditioner to freeze up and now you start experiencing this issue and instead of calling us to discuss it you go and bash us online without any evidence, that is bad science and mean. So now in 2018 without even giving us five minutes to let you know what the real issue is you have already made 2 public complaints to make us look bad and it isn't even our issue.     New AC and Furnace installed

    Christopher showed up same day I called for a quote and to go over my options. He was genuine and honest. Did not try to push for a hard sell. Took his time to explain everything with me. The installers showed up on time, were polite and efficient. They left after testing and going over everything with me. Everything was clean and old units were removed.

    Not happy in handling rebate claim and guidance on warranty

    Guidance on the rebate program was not explained in proper and at the time of booking it was committed 100% of getting the refund and once the claims gets rejected, they are coming up with numerous reasons for not getting honored. Even the warranty from the company there was lack in clarity and going on back and forth.

    Emergency furnace and air conditioner replacement

    Our 18 year old Carrier furnace and ac system failed and we needed a replacement system in a bit of a rush. I looked up several suppliers in the Etobicoke area and contacted them for pricing. Chris at Convertible Air was very responsive and came out the same day I called. He suggested an Amana system as excellent value, with great warranty. He also arranged for our energy audit to take advantage of the available rebates. The installers arrived on time, as scheduled, were professional and productive. They completed the entire removal and installation in 4 hours and cleaned up. We discussed the operation of the system, how to take advantage of the operating modes and how best to use our ceiling fan for more energy savings. Very nice work and excellent customer service. Will call for our annual service and hopefully won't need to call them for any repairs.
