    Furnace and A/C installation

    Chris and his team did a great job installing a new furnace and A/C. Very polite and professional. I had used Convertible Air in the past and highly recommend them.

    Hot Water Tank Heater

    I worked from home the day of the installation so I could handle any issues and questions I might have. Dieter , the installer, was able to come by earlier than expected which was excellent. That gave me just enough time to return the old rental water heater. I made sure that everything around the old water tank was removed and cleaned up some what. Dieter did an excellent job and was very pleasant to talk to. the old black pipe had to be replaced with the newer, larger white PVC tubing. Now I have a new Brad White power vented heater and the water is now hot again in my home. It's been working flawlessly for that last couple of weeks with no issues at all. I had other quotes that were much higher than Convertibles but I can't image any one else doing a better job. Thank you Convertible Heating & Air Conditioning and Dieter for the great installation.

    New Furnace installation

    Marnie was extremely professional and knew exactly the requirements for our older home, in order to do a new furnace install. Her team came out and didn't give up on it till it was all done, and even came out another day to finish up some remaining tasks. Would certainly recommend Convertible to anyone!

When I first inspected your job it was so tough I had to really think about the best way to get the 3" wide vent pipes out of your very finished basement. I quickly learned from your other quotes that people were intentionally mis-sizing your furnace needs simply to have a smaller 2" vent pipe to work with, even though this size of furnace would never heat your large home. I am so glad you trusted in my advice. When my men arrived to do the job it was so tough, they thought for a moment it wasn't possible to vent it at all. But Kemar and Eric, two of my many incredible technicians found a very creative way to get the venting done properly, safely and neatly. They impressed the heck out of me that day and I hope you too.     Boiler - annual cleaning and start-up

    Raj serviced/started up our boiler again this year (we moved in last year) and it's a very old boiler (at least 20 years old). Here's why we like Raj and Convertible Air: 1) easy to book an appointment (call or email, and they get back to you quickly). 2)a) easy to get a date and time slot we want 2)b) Raj called that day to let me know that he was running behind (raining so bad traffic) i.e. too many services leave you waiting and wondering and/or ask for a big time window for their arrival 3) Raj did a thorough cleaning of the boiler and cleaned up the area he was working in, and within the time allotted (i.e. so I was able to get to work/make my meeting) 4) Price = estimate

    Replacement of Furnace and Air Condition

    Looking for Replacement for my Furnace and A/C, emailed 3 different companies for estimate; Convertible was the only Company contacting me by telephone, Chris the sale person set up an appointment, it showed up and left an estimate with us. Few day later, with not call from other Companies, we called Chris back, he came over we did a contract, two day later the Techs were over at 9am, by 4pm were all finished; all was left clean and all old parts removed. Thank you, great job done.

    Fixed my unit during a hot

    I contacted Convertible Heating and Air Conditioning after my unit stopped working during the hottest night in Toronto. They promised to come within an hour and they did. The guy was kind, knowledgeable, sociable and thorough with his work… explaining why my cooling unit wasn’t working and how he would be able to fix it. In less than an hour, my house became cool once more. I couldn’t be happier with this. Highly recommend Convertible Heating and Air Conditioning. Would use them again and I am planning to do so when I upgrade my system to a more efficient one.

    Furnace installation

    After receiving 4 quotes, I decided to hire Convertible Heating and Air. Marnie, one of the managers, was fantastic! She was able to explain clearly 3 different furnaces and their costs. Marnie helped me decide on the right furnace for my home and was able to have it installed within 2 days of her visit. The installation team who installed the furnace were incredible--punctual, efficient, quiet and tidy! I have already started to recommend this company to people needing a new furnace.

    Water heater tank repair

    I called looking for someone to come out and repair our hot water tank. Grant, the man I reached at Convertible, was very kind and gave me some helpful DIY advice to try before requesting a technician to come out. When I called back with a follow up question, he was patient and knowledgable, which helped me remedy the problem myself :) These guys seem like caring and trustworthy professionals! I would definitely call them again.

    Furnace and A/C unit

    The 2 techs arrived on time at the end of April 2015 and were very pleasant and professional. They replaced the 2 units in a good and timely manner, cleaned up all debris afterwards and all in the space of 8hrs. We have had a slight glitch today (Tuesday 6Th Oct) however, once again the company despatched a competent and very knowledgeable tech the same day and all is well again. We would certainly recommend Convertible H & A to anyone.

    New AC, furnace and hot water tank

    I dealt with Chris who was very punctual and knowledgeable. He also told us not to hesitate to call his cell phone with any questions while we were thinking about the quote (which we took advantage of twice). The quote was MUCH cheaper than the first company who quoted us almost double. Chris was able to book the installers about 1.5 weeks after we signed the contract. Kamil and James were our installers. They were punctual, courteous and professional. They reviewed options for where to install the vents and Kamile even laid landscape material down under the new AC for me when I mentioned my husband and I would be doing some landscaping at the side of our house! They also showed me their work at the end of the two days and reviewed the new thermostat with me. Overall, very pleased with the service.
