    Furnace and AC

    I contacted Convertible Air for a quote after my parents had theirs done through them and were more than pleased with the service as a whole. Chris came to provide the quote and provided me with all of the information that I needed to make an informed decision. The service was completed quickly and efficiently, including the necessary follow up to ensure that the job was finished in a timely manner. I would recommend Convertible Air without hesitation!!

    Furnace and Air conditioning

    I was referred to Convertible Heating and Air by my home inspector who's opinion I value and respect. Since then I have changed 2 furnaces and one air conditioner and I am in process of my 4th purchase from Convertible. Each and every time I called Marnie she has been incredible. She has given me great honest advice telling me what I need or don't need, prompt with her appointments and installation, advised me on best product and value to buy for my money, patient for all my questions or concerns, and always available to answer me. One time I emailed her after midnight figuring I will get an answer in the morning and sure enough she was by her emails and we started a dialogue that late at night. Everything from the initial estimates through the paper work, installation and even helping me with the rebate paper work was a pleasure, comfort, and reassurance. I give Marnie a 10 out 10 and I have and will continue to refer her to others.

    Water Tank Replacement

    We met Sean and he quoted us a tankless unit to replace our 15 year old water heater tank. Sean was great and knowledgeable, and set up an install the following week. Toby and his team, disconnected the old water tank, completed the install, and cleaned up just over 4 hours. There were a couple of issues after the install but Toby came by and fixed the problems. Great service overall. Thanks.

    Furnace repair

    My furnace wasn't working this morning. I called Convertible to book a service call. I used them before and was satisfied. The receptionist couldn't tell me when a tech would call. I left my number and waited....and waited. Finally I called another company and was helped immediately with a scheduled visit. It's 9hrs later and Convertible still has not returned my call. I understand if they were busy, but they didn't have decency to call me back. They lost my my business for good.

    Sheldon, when I read your review come across the email at 9 pm saturday night, I was very upset. What you described in your review was completely out of character for us, as you yourself noted from your last good experience with us. So I called my dispatch centre to see why you had been missed. Anto (the lady you spoke to) said you called in to book a furnace maintenace appoint and she told you Mike our technician would call you directly to book the appointment. We were not aware in any way that you had no heat. Thats why we didnt get to you right away, Mike was servicing homes with no heat and was going to call you the next day to book your cleaning appointment for next week. We did not know you had no heat. I really wish you would have simply called us back. We would have realized the error in the service code and re-disbatched it to another technician immediatley- we had many others that were available that morning. So it wasn't that we were too busy or too rude to call you back, we didnt know you had an emergency nor did we think you were sitting by the phone waiting for our call. People leave their cells so they can be free from their home while waiting to book an appointment. We did not knowingly make you wait all day for us, to not even call or show up. We simply thought you wanted us to call you to book your maintenance appontment. I even asked the office to email me the work order that went to Mikes truck, and it said "MAINTENANCE request - please call customer". We as a 50 year old family business bust our chops 24 hours a day to keep our customers looked after, but simple errors can happen. Perhaps you didnt make it clear, or perhaps she misheard you, either way a quick phone call to our office would have solved your problem immediately Sheldon, it surely would have eaten up less of your valuable time than it did going to homestars first. That courtesy you mentioned certainly goes both ways sir, if it were me waiting for a service at my home, I would have called in again before going to social media....which can unfairly hurt good people with good intentions. I wish you had called us, we simply thought you needed to book a maintenance appointment. Our sincere apologies, it was an honest miscommunication between you and our dispatcher.     Hot water on demand, furnace, and A/c replacements

    Marnie came to quote me on the job for my new furnace and A/c, and I was extrememly impressed by her knowledge and willingness to explain to me what she was doing. Ironically, two days later our traditional hot water tank broke down, so I called her again... and she amazingly got someone out the very next day to install a brand new on demand system. Dieter did the install job of that, as well as the furnace and a/c a few weeks later, and he did a great job. he was very patient with me as we tried to work out the best ways to vent the new systems in a house that just wasn't built with that type of venting in mind. I'd recommend this team in a heartbeat... especially considering they were also the lowest of the three quotes I got for the work!

    New Boiler

    Recently had a new Navien combi unit installed to replace my existing boiler and water heater. I am very happy with the product and service from Marnie. The installation by Tom, who is friendly and knowledgeable was exceptional.

    Furnace replacement

    My sales consultant Sean is very professional and trustworthy. He is very detailed in all aspect of his products. As for installation, Diefer is very punctual, works very clean, and always smiling. Thanks guys.

    Hot Water Tank Installation

    We had our hot water tank die on Thanksgiving weekend and Convertible had a very helpful technician (Mike) come in the same day to help us manage the issue. While it took nine days to get a new tank due to it being on back order, which meant no hot water or heat for that time, when the tank was ready for installation, the installer (Dieter) was on time and knew what he was doing. He installed it (as well as additional valves and the building code-mandated new exhaust venting) quickly and professionally and even helped clean up afterwards. We'd recommend this company to anyone in a similar situation.

    new furnace

    We replaced our old furnace since it couldn't last another winter. Price was reasonable to our quotes we got. Service was great, Eric and Kumar did a great job. They knew what they were doing. I would recommend this company to others.

    Switch Oil to Gas Furnace

    Marnie Amodeo and the company were terrific, very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Everything involved for removing our oil tank and furnace and switching to Gas was explained extremely well. The team arrived on time to remove the oil tank and furnace and then Adam and Andrew arrived to install the Gas Furnace. Having a very old North Toronto home the foundation walls are very thick. Huge amount of work and strong muscles required! Everything was done extremely well. They cleaned up and made sure that we understood the new furnace controls before leaving. They were terrific and we highly recommend using Convertible Heating and Air Conditioning.
