Our 20 year old furnace (was in the house when we bought it) had a blower motor issue last year and the motor was replaced in a very professional manner by Raj from Convertible. A week or so ago, the furnace started playing up again (would not stay lit) so I called Convertible again and asked for Raj to come and assess it. He said he would be able to come to our house the same day but I wasn't available, so I asked him to come the next day (last Thursday) and he arrived promptly at the agreed time. He diagnosed the Smart valve as being defective and he provided an estimate of the cost to fix it. Given the age of the unit, we discussed whether it would be worth replacing the defective part or just replacing the whole unit altogether. I asked him to have some quotes organised and he noted the specifications of the old furnace and took some photos of the unit. Marnie, the General Manager at Convertible, then sent me quotes for three different units last Friday. I did a bit of research on the furnace brands and models that she had quoted on and emailed her on Saturday saying that we would go with the quote for a Goodman unit. Despite it being the weekend, she organised everything and provided me with email updates and the install was scheduled for this morning (Monday). Rick and Charlie, the install team, arrived and set about removing the old furnace and installing the new one. They were both very polite and efficient and the work was completed within a few hours. I can say that I have always had good, prompt, and efficient service from Convertible Air and that I would happily recommend them to others.
