    Furnace, AC & HW replacement

    I was looking at replacing my furnace, air conditioner and hot water heater and received a few quotes, including Convertible which was referred by a friend. Many companies were trying to oversell me on a system that was more than is necessary. Chris did a great job in sorting out what I needed and gave good options on quality systems. Pricing was fair and that helped win the business. I also appreciated not being oversold on maintenance packages - of course the system needs to be maintained but it needs to be a reasonable amount at a fair price!  This week Rick and Charlie worked very well together and finished up in less time than expected, with minimal disruption to our work-from-home and school-from-home family. Great job.

    Repeat Customer

    This is my fourth time dealing with Marnie and the team at Convertible Air in the last 20 years (my home, cottage, business location). I've always been satisfied. They're professional, accommodating and provide a great product at a reasonable price -- a very straight-forward process with no gimmicks or sales pitches. This particular job was a bit more difficult as we had finished our basement. It made the venting a lot more difficult. Instead of taking the easy way and ripping down part of our ceiling, Kemar and his team took the extra time (probably 2-3 extra hours) to consider a different solution that minimized the damage to our ceiling. Thanks Kemar. Would not hesitate to recommend Convertible Air to my closest friends.

    tankless water heater replacement

    again they were amazing, our old tankless worked sporadically. so showers were a challenge. Marnie arranged a very quick installation date. The installers were amazing, professional and tidied up after themselves, If another job should come up in my house, I will definitely use them again, 2 years ago they installed our new furnace and had a great experience as well.

    Amazing Job On A Complete HVAC Overhaul

    We interviewed half a dozen HVAC contractors, and met with Chris at Convertible several times to review our scope of work, requirements, and costing estimates. We got the run-around from the other HVAC contractors, but Chris and his team were always on the ball, answering our questions, ensuring all the work and the proposal was to spec, and never once did the ever oversell or push me to get anything I did not need or to spend money unnecessarily. Removal of our 19 year old HVAC system and installation of a Rinnai tankless system, new air conditioner, and air handler/furnace was completed by their team lead, Kamil, who is extremely polite, easy going, and knowledgeable. His technical knowledge and installation quality was second to none, and on time. Everything was cleaned up nicely and explained to us thoroughly, all while being respective of our time as we worked from home due to COVID-19, in addition to being respective to the use of wearing a mask when in our home. In the end, Convertible did what everyone else said couldn't be done, or simply did not want to do. So happy we went with Convertible Air and Heating, and will use them again on future maintenance and services.

    Gas Furnace Install

    Great pricing , fast install arranged as I had no heat for a few days , and they were aware of that fact .Polite courteous and did the job properly / fast Monday Morning . Well done / quality work .

    Remove Water Heater - Install tankless water heater

    From first phone call asking about the service, cost and recommendations to removal and installation, the service was excellent. Replacement of 17 year old traditional water heater and new installation of tankless water heater.

    Replaced A/C Unit

    Excellent Customer Service, Great Work, Great Value! Our Air Conditioner broke down and we began to shop around for quotes to replace the unit. We started with Costco and a few other companies, then we received the "OurNeighbourhood Oshawa/Courtice Magazine" in the mail. Inside there were a few companies listed for heating and cooling. The company that stood out above the rest was CONVERTIBLE! Family owned and operated for over 50 years and several "best of" HomeStars ratings. We sent an email requesting information and the owner (Sam Amodeo) contacted us right away to provide us with a quote. Sam was extremely customer focused, knowledgeable and took the time to understand our needs. He provided options and pricing right away. Once we decided to proceed with the job, he scheduled a date/time and explained everything in detail. The installers arrived on time as scheduled. They were very pleasant, professional, answered all our questions, and completed the job within the time estimated. Once installed, they tested the unit, clean the work area, and ensured that we were completely satisfied before they left. I would highly recommend this company without hesitation!

    Great install for tankless water heater

    After our tankless water heater stopped working unexpectedly, the home insurance we had through our mortgage sent these guys over for a diagnosis same day. It was determined we needed a new water heater and later on that evening we had someone come by to quote a new water heater. Install happened a few days later (since it was over the weekend) and the attention to detail was great! A long rug was laid out to protect the flooring and afterwards, I was shown all the work that was done. Pricing is great, not super "salesy" like some other companies I had gotten quotes for and they don't just recommend the "top of the line" ones just for the heck of it. Highly recommend.

    SIte survey and sell and Install Tank less Water Heater

    Furnace and Air

    Michael came the same day we called him. He was most helpful in helping us in deciding the type of equipment best for us by explaining the pro and cons of different furnace and air. Received email with his quote the same afternoon. Installers arrived on time went right to work completed the job and left the area very neat. We are very satisfied with the work the guys did.
