    New AC Installation

    Convertible was referred to me by an acquaintance and in addition to their stellar reputation here on Homestars my experience with them was consistent and absolutely a pleasure. Marnie in particular was my contact and was extremely accommodating and responded quickly to any inquiry I had. She walked me through options and the differences between them, and quickly answered all my follow up questions as they came up. Their prices were competitive and, IMO honest, as their warranty was consistent with the manufacturer warranty and their total install price was notably lower than other quotes that by default included warranties above the manufacture warranty. The installers were also extremely friendly and professional, and communicative. They even used booties going in and out of the house. Marnie mentioned our satisfaction was of upmost importance, and I truly felt that was the case.

    Reliable, fast and convenient service model

    During the 2020 heatwave, I couldn't get a hold of any reliable AC installer. I called up the company, Mike was at the house to inspect within 1 hour. With COVID around, he spent less than 5 minutes to inspect everything needed and gave me a quote. I am happy that the installation went smoothly, and without any issues. Very convenient as they accepted e-transfer.

    Good Price Good Service on time

    I recently had AC installed by this company. I am very happy with the service. The team was on time and fast. I found their prices to also be very reasonable.

    AC unit

    The estimate was given over the phone the deposit posted and within a week the unit was installed . Efficient quick service both inside and outside the house plus cleaned up everything after . Technician emend adjusted my air flow unit great work great price

    New Air Conditioner

    One of our rental properties had an old A/C unit and wasn't working properly, and we knew it had to be replaced. Mike was able to promptly get installation started once Covid restrictions were lifted. The installer was super nice and helpful. We have used Covertible A/C in the past, used them for this job and will continue to call Mike in the future.

    Central Air Conditioning

    Prompt, professional, courteous service right from the original phone call to the service truck pulling out of the driveway. I would highly recommend this company. Their prices were fair and they were able to install a unit very quickly. 5 stars all around!

    Installation of AC unit

    We requested a quote and got one promptly. We were left alone to decide if we wanted the product (no pressure). Installers were respectful of our property during the installation. Product works well.

    Air Conditoner

    Great experience from start to finish! I have received several quotes before selecting Convertible Heating & Air Conditioning. I was sold right away. From the time we set up the initial appointment I knew I had made the right choice. I had made the appointment and less than a week they came and installed it. The technician was very professional, efficient and the installation was very tidy. Anything else I need done, im 100000% calling this company again. I couldn't be happier!!!

    3 year old furnace and air conditioner don’t work

    Over both the winter and summer I have had problems 2 years after purchase. In the winter the heat shuts off...had two techs in and they said the furnace is too large for the home...sensors get triggered and furnace shuts down. The air conditioner has a leak. The leak should be covered under warranty but the company is only interested in sending tech to the home, charging me to bandaid fixes...this has been happening for two years. The company does not take any responsibility for any part of this. I should have known better when the owners son came in his sports car and flip flops to help us decide which furnace/air conditioner combo we needed...not the most professional approach.

    Hello, I am sorry you are having issues with the AC. I'm doubtful about your furnace claim, because If the furnace was oversized, the furnace would not have worked for the last 3 heating seasons at all. If your AC has a Freon leak, which can happen no matter what brand you pick, or what company you select, the manufacturers don't cover that. We have been clear with you. You also declined the extended labour warranty. If you had not, the manufacturer and us combined, would have covered all of this under warranty. All brands including Lennox, Carrier, Trane, etc only offer 1 year coverage on Freon. This is an issue with central air in general as the new Freon gas is synthetic and runs at a higher pressure and can cause it to leak out over the cold winter. We are still here to help you, please don't let a manufacturers defect tarnish our hard work and support of you. I don't think the car someone drives has anything to do with anything sir, my brother Christopher is noted here on HomeStars over 300 times for his honest, helpful knowledge. Just because your AC has a defect, isn't on him or his footwear. I am here personally, if you need more help - and willing to by pass the diagnostic fees for you. Marnie Amodeo 416-503-8188
