    Humidifier exchange

    I called Max and He came to assess the issue. He came back and changed the humidifier and didn't overcharged like other companies do. I recommend Max for his honesty and service .

    Quick, Reasonable and honest

    Called Max around Christmas holidays since I was not getting any heat from furnace. Sent him some details on the furnace and he quickly gave me a quote and made a great effort to come by the house same day even though we had a terrible snowy weather. Had phoned 2 or 3 other competitors prior but all of them just wanted to sell a new furnace. Definitely will deal with Max for future cooling and heating needs.

    Furnace Repair

    My furnace stopped working on one of the coldest nights of the year and Max was super responsive. He was prompt and showed up when he said he would, and quickly diagnosed and resolved the problem at a very reasonable price. I would definitely call Max again for any heating or AC related work, and would highly recommend him to anybody looking for an honest, reliable service company.

    Boiler service

    I really appreciated Max's quick follow up and professionalism. I have hot water heating with a gas-fired boiler. I was very happy with the work completed and would easily recommend Max to others.

    Furnace breakdown

    Furnace stopped working on a cold night. Chose them based on HomeStars and glad I did. Service was prompt, friendly, efficient and the fees very reasonable. I would not hesitate to recommend Aire Max Heating and Cooling.

    Great work, good price. Highly recommended

    Installed a new, tankless Navien combi-boiler to replace 20 year old gas bolier. Received quotes from three different firms and Max's price was most competitive. I didn't think to ask what would be included in the price that was quoted and when I saw the mess of old pipes that was left behind after the old furnace was removed, I wasn't thrilled. However, a simple conversation moved us quickly to an agreement on a price for a second part of the job, which was to replace and tidy up all of the pipes in the furnace room. The end result is excellent and total cost for all work was still very good value. The true test of a firm's quality is how they deal with unexpected problems and issues and how responsive they are for support calls after they've been paid. Max is a pro. Highly recommended. (I'll upload a photo when I don't have so much junk stored in the furnace room).

    Furnace and humidifier installation

    My old furnace was acting up for the past couple years. Was tired of calling companies to come inspect old furnace only to get it going for another short time and getting charged a few hundred dollars. Looked up furnace repairs on Homestars. Was glad to see some of the previous companies I had dealt with in the past and their poor review scores. Aire Max on the other hand had a very high review score. Called him up and booked an appointment. Max was very professional right from the beginning. Showed up on time, diagnosed the issue with furnace and recommended not fixing as it was already a very old furnace. He provided a quote on a new furnace/humidifier with installation as well as clean and repair gas fire place. Called Max back and booked new furnace and humidifier install, his quote was very fair. Once again he showed up on time with his partner who was also very profesional. They were careful in bringing in and taking out all neseccary hardware not making any unnecessary damage. The whole process took a few hours and when it was done you wouldn't know anybody had been there. The installation of both furnace and humidifier was excellent, they made it a pain free process. Thank you Aire Max, thank you Max.

    Heroic repair service

    Woke up Saturday morning to find it unusually chilly, only to discover that my American Standard brand furnace was inoperative. Max returned my phone call quickly and was at my house within 90 minutes. My furnace turned out to have a broken exhaust motor. He was able to track down the part, drove to Mississauga immediately to get it, drove back, and had the furnace working by mid-afternoon. Great, prompt, friendly service.

    Max the Miracle Worker!

    I called Max early on a Sunday morning, and asked him to help me re-install the gas line to my barbeque. I had limited time to get this done, as we were hosting guests for a barbeque in the yard that afternoon. Max told me he would get to my place in an hour, and sure enough he was at my doorstep in no time ready to remedy the situation. I was worried I wouldn't get the assistance I needed given it was a Sunday, but I was lucky to have found Max. He is hardworking, customer-focused, and reliable. I look forward to using Max's service well into the future, and would recommend him to others without reservation.

    Heater/AC Repair

    My wife and I started hearing a high pitch noise from our air conditioner. Called Max based on his great reviews on Homestars, and he was very flexible in scheduling an inspection. Arrived exactly on time, immediately identified the source of the noise, and fixed it very quickly by re-securing a loose fan. No hassle or upsell on a fancy new A/C. Just great service, on time and at a reasonable price. Would highly recommend Max for any future repair work.
