    Heating maintenance

    I have used this company for a few years now. Max provided excellent service again this year for annual maintenance on our furnace. Great reliable, knowledgeable and efficient service. I will continue to use Aire Max.

    Emergency furnace replacement

    Worst case scenario: Christmas just passes and on midnight, Boxing Day, the furnace dies making a God awful sound. I immediately scrambled to put out numerous requests for quotes. The morning of Boxing Day I made followup calls. The only one who picked up was Max. So when he says he offers "emergency service", HE MEANS IT! He was here a couple of hours to later to assess the situation. He said he could replace the bad part, which would be expensive and not worth it given the age of our furnace (which we inherited after buying this house a few months back). It would also take a couple of days to get the part due to it being in the middle of the holidays. We opted for a full replacement, based on his assessment and the reviews read on this site the night before. We agreed on a price and scheduled that the full replacement be performed later on that day. Max estimated 7-8 hours in total for the work. He showed up about 4 hours later and worked until the night. The total time for the install came in just above 6 hours. He didn't ask for money up front. He didn't pressure me for the work. He didn't charge a huge premium to do the work on a holiday. And, last but not least, he didn't skimp on the actual, final product. The furnace, which I checked after the fact, is absolutely top of the line, 95% efficient. Guaranteed, with full warranty. There aren't many honest dealers out there anymore. And when you're under the gun, many people will take full advantage of your situation. Max is a rare one and I'm lucky to know him. I don't know what I would have done he didn't show up, or balked at the job when no one else even returned my calls or e-mails. I won't forget it. Max will service all of our HVAC needs as long as he's in business. I can't recommend him highly enough.

    Pressure Switch Swap

    Max has assisted me on 2 occasions now. The most recent occasion is to change the high pressure switch on the furnace. His rates are reasonable and is up front about the charges. I will continue to use Max for any assistance with HVAC troubles. Thank you!

    Furnace Repair

    The old furnace in my newly purchased high park rental house kept giving my tenants problems. It could never reach the set temperature and stopped working from time to time so that my tenants had to manually switch on and off the furnace to keep the furnace working. Called Max and he responded very fast. Showed up the next day. After a quick diagnosis, he told me my furnace was completely working fine. The only issue was the dirty filter. Although I told him I could go and buy/replace the filter myself, he volunteered to go and buy the filters for me as he knows a store close to my house. I paid $203 in total (including cost of 4 or 5 filters) and left my house very happy. Immediately after the repair, I left the country for a month long vacation out of Canada. After I came back, my tenant told me immediately after I left, the furnace still showed the same problem although not as often as before. I called and messaged Max numerous times trying to reach him and get some advice but failed. Max messaged back in the end saying he's on vacation out of the country as well and will not be back until middle Dec. When I asked whether he had any friend or partner who could come and take a look since his service was done a month ago, there was no reply ever since. No follow-up at all even after middle Dec. I am a very reasonable person - that is why I paid $203 even though I do not think the on-call fee ($90 plus tax) plus 4 or 5 filters may add up to $203. Overall I also think Max is a good person (although a bit rushed throughout the whole repair process). But I do hope Max could be a bit more professional/responsive after the service especially considering that the problem was never solved even though he told me everything with my furnace was fine. Out of desperate, I contacted another contractor (actually two - one for diagnosis and one for installation) and it ended up that the left burner and heat exchanger had issues, which I would expect Max to be able to figure out during his service call visit.

    let me write the story from my side, with all respect first of all you ask me to buy filters and I am not interested to push customers to buy filters from me, second your furnace was around 15 years old and there is no warranty for that kind of furnace to work without any problem, I was at your house on October and you texted me on December so any thing can happening for such a old furnace in two month, third you just paid me $180+HST which was $90 for service call and $90 for 5 filters that you can use for new furnace and travelling time to go to supplier and buying filters fourth on October nothing was wrong with heat exchanger and that company that installed new furnace for you that I know which company is that from your reviews always push customer to buy and install new furnace and from their reviews you can find out they don't repair most the time, any way at Aire Max we don't try to ripping off the customers and if we do some thing wrong we return money to customers.

    HVAC

    I am a property manager; I deal with people of different trades all the time and the reviews that I write are very seldom. However, now I do feel the necessity to say something about this wonderful Max. This is the second time that Max has come to help me with my HVAC dilemmas. First, I called Max when a combo rooftop unit was not working properly, although to some "professionals" it was working as expected. However, for me it was not. When Max came, I told him the problem and almost right away he explained the reason of the problem and gave the solution, it worked like magic. The second time I called Max was because the furnace was blowing just cool air. Due to the age and conditions of the furnace, some "professionals" had advised me to buy a new one. I called Max for a quote for a new furnace. An hour later after I called him he came to the house and replaced a couple of inexpensive parts and had given the furnace a second chance. It is now working perfectly. I am very thankful for Max and I wish him many more years of success in all he does so I can always could count on his help.

    Emergency furnace repair

    Max is the kind of professional who drives hours through an insane snow storm, in the middle of the night, to come return heat to your home when your furnace breaks. Trust in Max, and you will not be disappointed. He is a consummate gentleman, a man of his word, and we are lucky to have found him. He also fixed our air conditioning last summer, so he is a man for all seasons. Thanks Max!

    Furnace maintenance

    Max came in on an emergency as a secondary review for furnace maintenance. He was very professional, accommodating to our last minute request, and knowledgeable. Will definitely ring him up again for furnace work/advice.

    MAINTENANCE FOR FURNACE AND BOILER

    I CALLED MAX FOR MAINTENANCE OF MY HEATING SYSTEM IN THE HOUSE. HE NOTICED THAT THE FURNACE HAS LEAKING PROBLEM TO THE MOTOR. HE RECOMMENDED ME TO CHANGE A NEW ONE AS THE OLD FURNACE IS APPROXIMATELY 20 YEARS OLD. THE NEW FURNACE WORKS GREAT SO FAR. HE TOLD ME THAT I SHOULD USE MORE CAUTION FOR BOILER BECAUSE THE CO LEAK COULD CAUSE PROBLEMS. OVERALL, THE PRICE IS GREAT AND THE SERVICE IS PROFESSIONAL

    Boiler repair

    I was impressed that Max would come at night to fix our boiler. Our boiler would turn off and not restart. He quickly found the problem and provided the most affordable solution. Thank you
