This is the second time I've used Aire Max and so far 2/2. He comes when he says he will be there, gets the work done quickly and is fair with his prices. Will definitely use again!

We have a large commercial furnace/aircon unit for our business that needs checks in the fall and spring to keep working well. Since we have hired Max to maintain our unit it has worked perfectly. He comes quickly after we call him and is very honest and trustworthy unlike some other companies we have used in the past.

Winter is coming! Turned on the furnace the other day, worked for a minute or 2 but then the heat stopped. Tried starting it again a few times, but nothing, no heat. Everything else seemed to be working. Max was the first person I thought of to take a look for me. I had hired him a few years ago to install a tankless water heater in my house and I was very satisfied with the service then and have had no issues with the water heater since. Max arrived the next day at the time he said he was going to show up and took a look. After doing some testing, he diagnosed the problem and it was a faulty switch for turning on the gas. Fortunately, he had an extra part in his vehicle and was able to replace it right away. Now we have heat again! Thanks Max!

Anyone who doesn't consult Max is making a costly mistake. I know, I didn't call him when my original furnace/AC was installed several years ago. Max has addressed all the inadequacies of our substandard furnace installation and identified and repaired several issues we were completely unaware of. He did all of this quickly and without any suggestion of additional charges. I've been a home owner for over 30 years, Max is one of the most responsive and attentive service professionals I've had the pleasure to have engaged with.

Incredibly kind and efficient service. Very reasonably priced and came out the same day. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for any HVAC needs and don't want to get fleeced; especially in the event of a cold snap.

I had a job quoted by 3 different people. His price was the best. The repair was done very promptly and it continues to work very well. I highly recommend Max for your HVAC repair. A very honest man that knows what he is doing.

Our AC stopped working on the first heatwave of the summer and it was a Friday afternoon. We called around on Saturday to have a tech come diagnose the problem. Some wouldn't be able to come out until Monday/Tuesday and would charge minimum $150 for the service call. We looked on Homestars and Aire Max had very positive reviews. So we called and Max said he would be over within 2 or so hours and the service call would be $90. Fantastic!!! Max was able to conclude that the blower was not communicating properly with the system and said it was the control board which needed to be replaced. Cost was around $700-$800. Since he could not guarantee that it would not happen again, because our make/model of furnace was not reliable, he recommended replacing it even though it was only 6yrs old. So we decided to do just that. Max was able to come the next day (Sunday) with the new unit and install it. Wow!!! Who does that on a Sunday???? Max was able to install it in about 5hrs but there was an issue with the electrical switch that powers the unit. He recommended an associate who would be able to fix it and would come back to finish the job afterwards. He was able to temporarily make the AC work (what a relief). A week past and Max was back finishing the install and everything worked perfectly. The new furnace seemed more efficient in cooling our upper level floor than the old unit. During the installation of the new unit Max had suggested we replace the humidifier since the old one was not wired properly and not sized properly. We told him we would think about it and contact him when we've decided. Within a weeks time Max was back installing the new humidifier. With all that has gone on within the 3 weeks Max has been very accommodating , very professional, friendly and courteous. His pricing was fair and service was nothing short of fantastic. We would highly recommend Max to anyone looking for any type of heating/cooling service.

Early this year I had some challenges with my furnace humidifier. I called several service techs recommended by friends and neighbours, but they either wouldn't call me back, or kept putting me off. Finally I checked Homestars and called Max. He responded immediately. and was at the house at the agreed upon time (which is rare in my books). We decided that a new humidifier was in order, and he had it installed the same day. He had to shuffle some things around to accommodate the install. His service was so good that I am rethinking the Enercare service package that I got for this rental property.

AC broke on 30 + degree day. Called several companies and this guy promised to arrive within 2 hours. Came in 1 hour, fixed the AC issue in 20 minutes and I have AC again. Can't ask for more.

Had an ac problem in july. Called two other companies and were quoted a lot more for replacement parts. Aire max saved me some money. Fast and efficient. Pleasant to deal with. Showed up when i needed them. Will call again. Sorry for the delayed review. :) Thanks, John
