    Gas pipe repair

    Aire Max came to fix a gas pipe on Canada Day when no other companies would. He was candid, fair and a great person to work with. We will be using him again to help with our furnace.

    Fall servicing

    We always look forward to seeing Max for the fall servicing. Punctual, knowledgeable and always a pleasure to deal with, he cleaned, tested and checked our boiler and fireplace insert. Couldn't be more confident that, thanks to him, we'll be warm this winter and that our heating appliances have an extended life. Thanks again, Max!

    A/C maintenance

    I don't often give reviews, but Max deserves a comment on a job well done a couple of months ago. It was a pleasure to deal with him. Scheduling his visit was easy. He arrived on time and was extremely helpful in evaluating a problem with our a/c units and providing a solution. I am now engaging him in other projects.

    Boiler maintenance, gas fireplace cleanup

    Max drained my boiler, added a safety valve, cleaned our gas fireplace glass, and taught me how to use it all since I had zero knowledge about boiler heating systems and gas fireplaces! I would recommend Max to others - he was thorough, courteous, and cleaned up his workarea. Thanks Max!

    Furnace Repair

    It finally got cold enough to turn on the furnace. Mmmm nice and warm. Then warmer and warmer ... before I knew it, it was 26 in the house while the furnace was set to 21.5 .. yikes. Turned off the furnace. Gave Max a call (on Saturday of course) and he said he could make it no later than 8 that evening. Got a call from him at 3:30 asking if he could come at 4:00 .. of course!! Turns out there was short in the cable between the thermostat and the furnace (caused by another contractor doing some structural renovations). Pulling a new cable was not that practical ... but Max had the idea to utilize the unused AC wires to run the heating. Voilà!! Quick, efficient, honest!! Highly recommend.

    Boiler repair

    My boiler was not functioning properly (no heat) despite being repaired by another company earlier this year. Max rectified the problem promptly for a fair fee. He also expressed some valid concerns about the safety of the airflow in the boiler room, suggested a reasonable solution to enhance the airflow and made the necessary venting changes.

    Installation of new Lennox furnace and moving of ducts

    Max moved my ducts and installed a new Lennox furnace. I was very satisfied with the work that he had done. Work was professionally done and made sure everything worked before leaving. Everything was neat and looked great. Highly recommend Max to my friends and family.

    HVAC repair

    I never usually write any reviews online; however, the service and the attention on this job was exceptional end to end. I highly recommended AIRE MAX for his AC and HVAC work!

    AC Repair

    During the Summer heat wave my AC unite had stopped working suddenly. I called a few companies and they all wanted to sell me a new AC for lots of money. I thought the problem could be be fixed but was unsure. I searched Homestars and found AIRE MAX, I decided to call them based on the reviews and positive comments posted. I call and got in contact with Max immediately and made an appointment. He did not show(1st Strike), said he had Van problems. Re-scheduled appointment, Max showed up on time, I was impressed with his service, he quickly identified he problem and recommended a fix at a reasonable price. I would call him again if I need a new AC and recommended he buy a new Van.

    New A/C

    After meeting with a few other companies about a new ductless a/c, we decided to go with Max. He seemed very experienced, price was reasonable and was able to do the install within a few days after meeting with him. He installed a ductless a/c of our choosing and disposed of the old unit. The new unit works well. The install took slightly longer than expected but he came back the next day to finish the job. Thank you Max. We would happily use him again.
