My wife and I were lucky enough to have Munir from Allmax perform our pre purchase home inspection on what could have been our first home purchase. . Munir arrived on time and was quite friendly and easy to talk to. He got to work right away and it wasn't long before he started to point out some fairly major issues that neither myself or my wife had spotted. I'll spare you all of the boring details but by the end of a long and very thorough inspection it was quite obvious that we would be rescinding our offer thanks to the information provided by Munir. Not only did he save us tens of thousands of dollars in future headaches but he was very friendly and patient with us. My wife and I know little to nothing about buying a home and not once did Munir make us feel silly for asking what may have been some pretty stupid questions. We will be contacting Allmax again for our next inspection.

Allan was reviewing a one year old home. We didn't expect to find many deficiencies. His review was quite thorough. We learned much about the home. We felt the review was detailed and very competently done. Allan's follow up regarding additional questions and thoughts was excellent. We would not hesitate to recommend him and use his services in the future.

I found AllMax on the HomeStars website. Alan the home inspector is very professional and knowledgeable about the building trade. He is experienced and enthusiastic about his job. He takes care in the inspection process and took the patience to walk me through every aspect of the inspection on the exterior of the house and interior floor by floor and room by room. He encouraged me to ask questions and was able to answer them in layman's terms yet not leave out the details. If my friends ask me, I have no hestitation to ask them to give Alan a call.

Alan took the time to show me all the potential issues of the house, from leakage/mold to electric to plumbing to raccoon feces, all with reasonable price. Highly recommend for all home owners.

I contacted Alan at AllMax who promptly booked a suitable appointment time. The inspection was satisfactory and Alan provided a candid report about the minor deficiencies of my new home, which helped put my mind at ease. Being new home owners, Alan assisted with educating me about various components about my home (e.g. tips on efficient furnace, AC use, etc.). The only criticism I have was that the inspection and our conversations were often interrupted by phone calls to Alan's phone (at least four that I counted) that he took on the spot. This did become frustrating to a paying client and I recommend diverting calls to an assistant or voicemail in future to give 100% attention to current client. Thanks for your service.

As we wanted to make sure that we missed nothing, we had Alan come to do a home inspection at our newly constructed house (prior to submitting our 30-Day Form to Tarion). Alan's report helped us prepare for submitting the Tarion form and he pointed out several things that need to be rectified (with a reference to the appropriate section of the Ontario Building Code or Tarion's Construction Practice Guidelines) that we would have missed.
