    Home inspection

    I would highly recommend Allmax Home inspection . I have hired and referred Alan numerous times to do home inspections for my clients in Durham Pickering ,Ajax and Bowmanville and have been very impressed with his professionalism , integrity and extensive knowledge of almost all aspects of a house and property . Alan was on time polite and professional and had the completed reports in a timely fashion . I would not hesitate hiring Alan for my next home inspection .

    Positive experience

    Alan was referred to us by our real estate agent. He was thorough, efficient, and very helpful. We would definitely recommend Alan and plan to use him next time we need an inspection.

    home inspection

    Alan responded my request promptly and timely. He showed up early then scheduled. He also spent time to answer my call regarding questions related to the finding report. Would recommend.

    A must have service for any no-condition house offers

    Like everyone else in this hot and crazy real-estate market, we bought our first house with no condition. I didn't see the need to hire an inspector under these circumstances. But at the recommendation of our friends, we hired Alan to inspect our newly purchased home and let us know about the big maintenance costs that we should budget for. I met Alan on a Saturday, he was kind enough to accommodate inspecting the house on a weekend. He's professional and super detailed. I was impressed by the level of detail and care he has shown during the inspection. He spent over 2 hours examining every room inside the house, and using an air drone, he scanned the roof. I received a 50 page report from him about every fix that I need to make, the justification for the recommendation as well as an explanation for why this an important piece of the house. The report underscores the fixes that must be done now vs. later with an approximate cost so that I can accurately budget for these costs when they are due. He is also super prompt with his email responses and generous with the information. I highly recommend Alan to anyone who would like to know if there are critical issues with their homes and wants to budget for the immediate and future maintenance costs.

    Home and Mold Inspection

    Great job done Alan on our new detached home! Detailed inspection was completed, and we are very happy with his work overall. Will definitely use him again if we ever get the chance!

    Home inspection and air quality tests

    Alan was referred to me by my real estate agent and we were impressed by the service we received. We told Alan we bought a home with a longstanding grow op history, and we were surprised to learn he had extensive experience inspecting grow op homes, walked us through processes and what we should expect when obtaining mortgage approvals and home insurance. He was very thorough, efficient, and responsive. He even followed up a few times afterwards to offer further support and make sure we were good to go. We learned a lot from Alan along the way. Highly recommend his services.

    Home Inspection

    The report contain details inspection report. There is picture and photograph taken which helps in recognizing the area. They also provided us with verbal report and took a sample to test for asbestoses presence. I highly recommend them.

    Great attention to detail

    AllMax was very thorough, knowledgeable and diligent in their work. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for an inspection for their new home! They put my mind at ease by detailing all of the potential issues of my home and pointing out any minutea I might have missed. They made the process a lot smoother. Thank you!

    Alan missed thousands of dollars worth of repairs

    Used Allan in 2011 and was happy with service. Used him again for our home purchase in 2020 and was VERY disappointed. He said our roof was in good condition & that it was less than 5 years old which is part of the reason we bought the house. (We found out from the original owners that the roof was more than 14 years old and needs to be replaced sooner than later. Alan also took a picture of our attic and did not actually go into our attic. Here’s what he missed. A family Of birds living in the attic( previously) and family of squirrels living in the attic (currently), a hole in the roof/shingle line that the squirrels ripped open and his lack of attention has set us back thousands of dollars. When we brought these issues to his attention he was not sympathetic or interested in correcting his mistakes. He refused to answer the phone or meet with us. He did not refund us or provide any monetary settlement.

    Home Inspector to the Stars

    I needed a rushed home inspection so I could confidently put an offer in on a house my husband and I wanted to buy. Alan was able to come the following day and do a full inspection! He even used his drone to check out things on the roof of the house. He climbed into the attic, and made sure that we had nothing to worry about! I would highly recommend AllMax to inspect your house for any of your needs!
