Alan helped me understand the common issues with houses of this age, and prepared me with the information for upcoming work that needs to be done. I appreciate the positive and creative approach while looking at obstacles within the home. I also liked the thorough explanation of each question I brought up. I'm very satisfied, but more importantly confident in my decision to purchase this home now.

This being the first home inspection, I did not know what to expect. When we met Alan Glushko, he was very approachable and knowledgeable. He conducted a thorough inspection of he home. While doing so, he advised my sister Carol of his findings. Carol told me that he was fast but efficient, he advised Carol on things that required repairs and provided suggestions to maintaining the home in good condition. I arrived at the house close to the end of the inspection, but Alan also took the time to answer my questions. Even after, his job was done, he stayed behind and answered the "sellers" questions and the need for any reparation. I would recommend Alan to any of my friend who require a home inspections.

In summary, Alan from AllMax is amazing. I would recommend Alan any time. There is a reason why he has so many positive reviews on HomeStars... he very well might be the best home inspector around. My wife and I were looking for a home inspector that is thorough, detail oriented, organized, patient, and we definitely got all of that and more from Alan. Alan was always able to explain every single thing and answer every question we had regarding the specifics of our house and the home inspection, and of course, bring every minor and major issue to our attention. Alan's ability to articulate his findings in plain language is truly a gift. We really appreciated this, as sometimes when terms and findings got too technical for us, it was important to us that Alan patiently explained everything in plain language so that we could understand. This is our second home inspection with Alan, and we are definitely happy with his services and will use AllMax again in the future.

Alan was on time and provided an excellent service by pointing out even the smallest problems. He also prepared a detailed report on all aspects of the house and the defects he found. Price was fair and worth every dollar. Highly recommended!!! A++++ service! Thanks Alan!!!

Alex (the inspector) is the consummate professional. He was right on time for our appointment, explained everything in detail and answered every question I had about the home we were looking to purchase. Most importantly, he went through the home with a fine tooth comb and picked out even the smallest deficiencies. I admit that at first I was skeptical about home inspections but after this experience I am convinced that getting one (well at least from AllMax) was well worth it and going forward, will not hesitate to call them up again.

As a first time buyer, we were looking for an inspector to check over our recent purchase of a house. Upon browsing the internet, we stumbled upon AllMax and decided to give it a try. The response was quick and we were able to meet on schedule. Despite Alan's young appearance, he was able to give us thorough and detailed information about the house with his knowledge and expertise. Along with inspection, he also provided us with a complete, 51 page report that included pictures regarding the recommendations and repairs to be done on the house. We, without a doubt would highly recommend him for home & property inspections.

I had a home inspection by Allan Glushko and found him to be extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He really knew everything about the way houses are built, from the foundation to the plumbing and electrical. I would recommend him for home inspections.

Alan from Allmax did an amazing job. He was quick to respond to emails, on time, professional and very friendly. He even provided us with maintenance advice and tips around the home. The inspection was done within 2 hours and he emailed us the completed Tarion form within 24 hours. It was a wonderful experience and we are happy and relieved to submit our 1 year Tarion form containing items that we didn't know where not up to code. Thanks Alan and Allmax! Highly recommened!

We purchased an older home and had some environmental tests done. One of the tests was an asbestos air test, which came back as positive, with high levels of asbestos found in every floor of the house. Naturally we were really upset and freaked out. The environmental tester was going to come back the following week to look for bulk samples to take to find the source of asbestos, but we wanted for someone to look right away. I started to call other environmental testers, and to my surprise, found out that what the original tester failed to tell us was that the test he took did not actually find asbestos, but fibers in the air, which may or may not be asbestos, and that there is another test (a TEM test), that will specifically look for asbestos fibers. One of the several companies that told me this was Alan from AllMax Home Inspection - I went with him because he seemed pragmatic and knowledgeable, and offered a fair price for the test. He was able to come relatively quickly, and ran the tests for us, which came back negative to our relief. One thing we did find was asbestos wrapped around some of our ducts running up the walls, which he bulk tested (for a reasonable price as well). Based on the location of the asbestos, Alan recommended we seal it off since it would have been more costly and dangerous to remove. We had a remediator come in to get another opinion, and he recommended the same thing. Overall, Alan was very knowledgable, helpful, and was cost conscious in his recommendations for remediation. He even did a brief walk around of our house, pointing out things the home inspector missed at no additional charge. I would recommend him again.
