After the quote from Gitano, compared with others. Gitano is in the mid range. We got our fiberglass shingles on roof now. I did lot of research on internet and asked few questions to Lewis , regarding not using EAVE PROTECTION & UNDERLAYMENT for those fiberglass shingles , and received explanations from him and I was satisfied. Roof above 7-12 doesn't need those items. Clean job , no mess around the house. Before billing they came with a Drone to inspect the roof. I was told, that after 6 months, they will do another Drone inspection again.

The workers were very polite and did a wonderful job. I will recommend Gitano roofing to any one who needs to get their roof done .The guys were very generous.

I contacted Gitano for a quote for my neighbor and I, Lewis came by within a couple of days as mentioned. After receiving a couple of other quotes Gitano was the most reasonable for the work required. My neighbor and I recently had our driveways done and mentioned this to Lewis . Lewis reassured us that they would not damage the driveway. The crew arrived on the day of as scheduled, they laid plywood down for the bin so as not to damage the driveway. The crew hand bombed all the bundles onto the roof. They worked conscientiously and efficiently, they completed the work in two days, amazing job. Upon completion they methodically cleaned up the work area. You would never know I had my roof replaced. Thank you great job, highly recommend.

I don't usually write reviews but I thought I'd take a minute to write about what a first-rate roofing company Gitano is. I have a home in downtown Toronto with an extremely high pitched roof. Gitano's price was reasonable and Lewis was very forthcoming and honest about the job. He is in the business to make his customers happy. I would recommend these guys hands down. Very knowledgable and great customer service. If you need a roofing company these are the guys to call. A++ Lewis your company rocks!

I was happy with the price - best quote my neighbour and I received for the job and the end result looks to be ok. What I was not happy about was the process. We are in semi that it close to our neighbours and with a small yard so I know there was not much room, but the workers didn't do much to prevent damage to my garden. Other contractors in the neighbourhood used plywood to protect gardens from shingles being removed. Also, it started to rain on the first afternoon on the job and the workers left all my patio furniture and BBQ in the laneway blocking my garage door. On top of that, it was garbage night so someone may have thought I was discarding it all and might have picked it up! I had to move it all back into my yard. Lewis did personally follow-up though to try to make things up to me. That was appreciated.

We had a few quotes from different roofing company. However, Gitano’s pricing was unmatched and their knowledgeable and customer service were second to none. I am very pleased with the end product. The staff was friendly and the warranty they’ve given on the roof is exceptional. We would highly recommend Gitano.

We hired Gitano Roofing to do our roof (our house is approx. 2700 square feet, and three floors in some areas). They replaced the shingles and installed 3 new vents. In just one day, the roof was finished and the bin was removed. They cleaned up very well, and left not a single nail (we were worried about this, as we have dogs). The roofers were extremely polite and hardworking. Amazing price - we received estimates from a few other companies, and they didn't compare. We'd highly recommended Gitano Roofing.

What a great experience! I contacted Gitano Roofing online, and they quickly provided a comprehensive quote, at a great price. On job day, the guys were professional, polite and efficient. They did a great job. We catch ourselves staring at our new roof whenever we leave or arrive home :) Highly recommend.

Lewis came out and estimated job (measurements bang on), had another company estimate - also on homestars) and ask for double the price and claimed 500 more sq ft on roof. Gitano did job in one day,great clean up,left extra shingles for me (per request). Did not try to up sell stuff, he gave me a great job at a great price. Wasn't pushy, and answered all my questions. I had a screen that was damaged by the tear off and Lewis worked with me to repair without any argument. If i had to get another roof done it would be by Gitano.
