    Lawn care

    Yasir was a very personable and courteous guy, which was appreciated since I was working in the yard while he was here. He did a good, thorough job poweraking the yard. I'd recommend.

    Lawn rejuvenation

    I was called about possible using this company for lawn aeration and I inquired about other packages. The gentleman told me about a lawn rejuvenation package that would cost $250. I agreed. He said that they would come in early march. No one came. So I called In mid April and they told me that they started late and they would be coming in the next two weeks. I told her I saw some of the trucks in my area last weekend and asked why they didn't come to my place. She couldn't answer. All she said was that they would come in the next week. It's been over two weeks, I've called and left voice messages. No response. I've sent an email a few days ago. No response. Not sure what else is next other than Doing it myself since his company seems unorganized and doesn't seem to have any urgency to satisfy a customer that has been dealing with them for 4 years now. Needless to say I'm not impressed with their lack of professionalism and unfulfilled promises.

    Aeration service

    High school student showed up on my door step wth the machine to do holes in the lawn. He was wearing HomeStar logo T-shirt, and gave me a speech on quality of the work and benefits to the lawn treatment . After few minutes I realized that the kid has no idea about the job. He was cutting corners all over , and he did not k now how to operate the machine. I talked to him he admitted that it is his frat time doing it. I paid for his training I guess. I find this unfair to home owner and the person supposedly doing the work. It seemed like the young man had no training to operate the machine. The approach creates hazardous situation for the operator, cost and little benefit to the owner.

    Seniors watch out for the rip off

    We have been customers of this "company" for a few years. There was an incident ehere the worker showed up and did pur very small front yard but refused to do our backyard but made my wife pay full price and left. I called company and they apologized profusely asked me not to cancel and said they would ensure it would never happen again giving next uears service for free. Well guess what this year worker shows up my wife says are you sure you can do both? Worker says yes and does front yard, then asks my wife (I 'm at work) to use our washroom thens announces she can't or won't do the backyard, but demands payment from my wife. My wife says shes not paying full $56 so worker then says she wants $42 dollars just for front. My wife pays. I write email complaint and get phone call from "head office" where again they apologize and say they will refund $12. I say excuse me but this happened before and i was assured that it would never happen again. Plus a legimate company would not even start a job that they couldn't or wouldn't be able to do especially when asked right up front. Then charge us an outrageous amont for the small amount of work done!!! Really targeting seniors is lowest of low. Now i havr have to go out and pay full price to have a job that I already paid for done by a reputable company with ethical practices. Time to call the BBB and licensing authorities. Never again

    Aerated Lawn Without Permission!

    Guys showed up today and aerated my lawn--I didn't order it! Came home to 2 guys standing on my deck-charging a phone??? Honestly! When I asked what we're doing they were waiting to get paid. Excuse me?? Told them to get lost and stop disrupting my dogs all day! Also ripped up my lawn--thanks a lot!

    Offered a "special" price by phone and charged full price

    Having used Property Stars last year, I received a call offering me a special price to have my lawn aeration done again. Lawn aeration is not an aesthetic task - you pay someone to dig holes in the ground - nothing more. So the cheaper the offer the better and this seemed cheap. The guy showed up when I wasn't home, did the work and left an invoice for $20 more than quoted. I just got off the call with Kayla from the Head Offic and all she would do is quote me the price I paid last year and tell me there is nothing they could do because that's what I paid last year. I hate the bait and switch tactic of this company and will never do business with them again.

    Lawn

    Did front of yard with the lawn aeratator, said they'd be back in 2 months to redo lawn and he back years had me pay them then never came back. I called to follow up, was told I'd be getting a call from the supervisor and never got a call. Same thing happened to 2 neighbours from This company.

    Fall Turf-Grass Rejuvenation

    This crew typically canvases the neighbourhood with mobile carts that are dropped off at the end of customer driveways. They contain the essential equipment and nutrients/seeds to service a lawn. Heavier machine equipment is dropped off by a company service truck. I usually don't pay attention to them, but one day I decided to try. I had my front property machine dethatched, machine core aerated, fertilized and over-seeded. One crew member did everything. The dethatching was thorough. There was much raking. I didn't realize how much crap was suffocating the property. Again, the core aeration was thorough. No skimping on the coverage. Fertilization and over-seeding was also thorough. He didn't appear to skimp on anything. However, I cannot seem to confirm the quality of the seeds, even after many weeks of cool and fall rain days/nights. I am still hoping. Maybe the spring season will be improved? The labour effort appeared honest and earnest. Communication was clear and questions completely answered. It appeared to me like good ol' fashioned honest work.

    Lawn Aeration

    Use the aerator machine to pull plugs of soil out of the lawn to improve oxygen and water movement. Leave plugs for surface composting. Good job, helpful employee, happy to do it again ... if I can manage de-thatching in the spring.

    roll and aeration of front and back lawn

    Young lady was very nice, started raining, she finished the job regardless. Good job was done!
