Mike, thank you for taking the time to write your review. Unfortunately, I cannot find a Mike or Michael in Mississauga or Woodbridge in my database so I cannot speak to your specific case. Perhaps the inspection was done under your wife's name? Either way, in general, I test all appliances with the exception of dishwasher and washing machine (I do not test those due to the inherent liability). If an appliance is not functioning at the time of the inspection it is documented. If it is working as expected then I simply document the Model and serial numbers. However, even if something is working at the time of the inspection this does not mean it will be working by the time you take possession of the home. I can only document current condition. There is no way for me to predict future behaviour or lifespan accurately. Feel free to contact me at any time to discuss further if you wish. When it comes to any issues that are a serious danger, such as the one we found in the electrical panel, it is something that always requires immediate attention.
