Kevin, I am very sorry to hear you are not happy with your inspection. I do take great pride in my work and in my clients satisfaction. I do remember you and the home and have taken the time to review your report. In the case of your roof shingles your report clearly states:
Condition: Old, worn out
Task: Replace
Time: Immediate
We did discuss the roof after I descended and I clearly recall mentioning that the larger side of the roof was in much better condition, however, I recommended that the roof be replaced. I further recall that you did point out several things which you had stated you had either seen on your first visit to the property or had noticed while we were there. My job is to find these things but that does not preclude the potential home owner from finding things and pointing them out before I get to them. I have a very strict process I follow when I get to a property to ensure I do not miss any part of the home and quite often the home owner will see something before I get to it. I think it is wonderful to have the homeowners with me during the inspection so they can learn what to look for. In your report there were a large number of defects in the home which were found when you were not there with me. All of which were noted and photographed. As I stated, I do take a great deal of pride in my work and it is disheartening for me to find a client who is not happy with my service. You are welcome to contact me at any time to discuss further. Please call me at your convenience to discuss and hopefully resolve your concerns. Michael
