After reading various reviews on HomeStars, we narrowed down the home inspection companies down to 2 (including 4Sight Inspections). After reviewing each company's respective website and talking to the company representatives (I spoke to Michael directly at 4Sight Inspections), we decided to go with 4Sight Inspections, due to the fact that in their set fees they covered everything including thermal scan, visual mold inspection, etc. (features which the other company was charging extra for). Furthermore, since we were getting the home inspection in the middle of winter, our concern was the accessibility to all areas of the home (such as the roof, lot grading, etc.), however Michael alleviated those concerns by providing alternative methods he can use to try to inspect areas which are not accessible directly. Michael also mentioned that he could revisit to inspect the areas which he could not inspect due to any limitations, at no extra cost; which was a great plus. On the day, Michael arrived promptly, he got started on the outside of the house, then worked his way from the basement up to the attic. He was very through, he took pictures of all the areas he inspected, and noted down any concerns. After he finished, he sat down with us to go over all the points and answered all our questions thoroughly. We received the final report within a few hours after he left. We would highly recommend 4Sight Inspections.
