Quoting: We contacted 3 companies for the project. Alex from New Look Windows and Doors was very knowledgeable about the product and provide many options for our windows needs, he was prompt and responsive. Others were pushier or were reluctant to provide a quote unless we were ready to sign a contract right away. Alex offered extremely competitive pricing so we decided to go with him for the project. Alex stayed in touch throughout the process to finalize the order and make changes, he was responsive to every inquiry and kept us up to date on the order and install date.
Installation: The job was messier then I imagined (no fault to the installer), there was a lot of dust and debris with the brick to brick installation. Vladimir and Alex (installer) were great throughout the installation. They cleaned up the debris as much as they can after each day and pile them on the side of the house. They had the job completed in 4 days (17 windows and 2 doors). There was very minor painting required because the new window trim covered where the old trim was removed perfectly. The crew was very professional, understanding and accommodating to our questions and requests.
The house feels warmer and the furnace runs less to maintain the heat, the house feels more comfortable overall. Of course, the house looks fantastic with the new windows. We are very happy with the project. I would definitely recommend New Look Windows & Doors. Thank You!!
* not related to the installation, none of our inside mounted blinds would fit in the new windows because the new windows are about 1.25 inch smaller than the original ones so the cost of replacing the blind needs to be budgeted into the project.
