    Putting locks on cabinet

    I wanted to put locks on a custom cabinet I bought at Ikea, and contacted 5 locksmiths I found on Homestars to get various quotes. Two of the locksmiths said they couldn't do the job, and the other three said they probably could. Dmitri was the only one who volunteered to come out and look at the cabinet so he could give me a proper quote. The other two locksmiths just quoted me via e-mail and when I asked if they could come out to see what has to be done, they said I'd have to pay a site visit fee of $80 (whether they could do the job or not). Dmitri didn't require such a charge, and he did the job quickly and efficiently. Really good guy, honest and friendly guy, and I'll recommend him for sure.

    Key snapped off in lock

    My key broke off in my front door lock. I tried every solution that You Tube and Google had to offer. Nothing worked. This wasn't an emergency as I could still use my back door. I emailed Locksmith Care after reading the great reviews here. Dimitri showed up right on time and took 5 minutes to fix my lock. Great service, polite and reliable. Thank you!

    re-keyed locks

    I called Dimitri after reading the reviews to re-key the locks on my new place. He was extremely helpful and professional and knew his work. Not only that, he was on time and friendly as well. I will be calling him for any lock/security needs in the future.

    Broken Front Door Lock

    My front door lock was broken and needed to be fixed right away as I could not use the door. Dimitri was prompt, diagnosed the problem quickly, and replaced the lock very efficiently. He was very professional and courteous and even took the time to fix the hinges on my sticking door to ensure the door opened and closed smoothly! Thanks for the great job Dimitri!

    Latch replacement

    Tried to change the lock on my door after the latch broke but failed. Locksmith Care showed up quickly even though it was not an emergency. I had bought an entire lock and door handle set at Home Depot after sales clerk said latch was not available by itself. Locksmith Care had a replacement latch and the whole job cost me about $75 including the part. Returned kit to Home Depot for $115 refund. Can't speak highly enough of Locksmith Care.

    New locks on the house

    I called Dimitri and he was here within an hour. He far exceeded what I asked him to do - not only replacing the locks, but making the door jams much smoother, and even keying the porch lock to match the house locks! Dimitri is very skilled in his profession and he is helpful with his advice on what to do in this area where typically the homeowner knows next to nothing and really needs sound counsel.

    Re-Keying

    We moved to East York to a home with older doors, so we couldn't replace the locks ourselves. Dimitri was able to come in the same day I called, re-keyed two doors and made four keys in less than an hour, and suggested alternatives to make the home safer later on (when we're ready :)). I really appreciated his work and professionalism and would definitely recommend him.

    fixing lock

    Dimitri gave a fair estimate, arrived on time and explained the problem with the lock when he got here. I highly recommend working with Dimitri and I will again for my locks.

    lock replacement

    Dimitar has replaced old broken locks for me twice now so I should let everyone know that service was excellent both visits. He came same day of my call. He was fast and professional. He went out of his way to make suggestion to help me save money without compromising security. I was very pleased with his work and would call Dimitar with any lock issues.

    Broken doorknob and new lock installation

    Our business has used Locksmith Care a few times now & will keep doing so! They respond very quickly, have very reasonable rates, explain the value of what needs to be done. I would strongly recommend this company to anyone looking for a Locksmith, they are the best company I have dealt with in years!
