    Microwave Repair

    Technician came to repair a microwave that had no power. Circuit breaker restart did not do anything and could not find a simple fix. ARS was called and the technician was able to narrow the problem to the incoming power with a loose connector. The tech explained the causation of the loss and was able to provide me with an appropriate fix.

    Servicing Oven

    ARS has been to my home twice, 2 years apart, to repair my oven. As with the first time, I was extremely pleased with the technician, his knowledge and expertise. My oven is working again!! No having to bbq the Christmas turkey!! I'd recommend ARS to everyone - they are professional and exacting.

    Stove Repair

    UPDATE: ARS reviewed the situation and refunded the entire cost of the service call. UPDATE: Sourced another service and the stove is now fixed. I have requested a refund from ARS for the service call that provided no service. So far completely unsatisfied with this company. Booked and confirmed service call for for a Friday. Thursday evening ARS cancelled and pushed it to the following Wednesday -- two days before Christmas. After some negotiation the folks at ARS found an appointment for Tuesday. Tech arrived. Looked at the stove. Left. Did not even put the stove back together. Said it was impossible to be repaired by Christmas. Called ARS and very uncooperative manager denied they cancelled initial appointment. Completely indifferent to us not having a functioning stove for Christmas. No word on when parts will be sourced and installed. This appears to be some sort of anonymous corporate entity based out of the United States. Indifferent and rude customer 'service' Use ARS Toronto at your peril.

    Insane price and technician

    I wanted to put this experience behind me but I have to say something. We inherited a high-end LG stovetop and wall oven when we moved into a condo. The outer rings on the elements of the stovetop never worked so the thing could barely boil water. I showed LG a photo and they said to get it fixed (stupidly, I’ll explain later), and they sent me to ARS. ARS Guy did a lot of tests on the oven but didn’t even look at the stovetop. I asked why and he said he didn’t need to. I said I paid for him to look at it, we went back and forth then he yelled that he wasn’t “a monkey” who does useless work. Super rude. He came back for a second visit, and he replaced one of the burners. When he demonstrated that you have to press the button twice to turn on the outer burner, I said, “why didn’t you show us this the first time? The thing probably wasn’t even broken!” He said: “you sit in front of computers all day, you never thought of googling it?” I believe the burner was never broken. He just replaced it to save face for not having tested it the first time. Then the bill came. $1060 to repair both. And on his advice, I did google, and his markup on some of the parts was 100%. Double. So! LG should have noticed by the photo that the little light wasn’t on and I needed to press the button twice. And the worst part was, ARS Guy doesn’t even show you a detailed bill of parts and service. He just shows you numbers on his phone, then they charge you in installments so when the final bill comes, you’re in shock. My lesson: get an independent repair person. You don’t need an authorized LG technician. They will rob you. Never again.

    Ice maker repair

    This company as recommended by Samsung. They responded quickly and efficiently. Very organized and easy to communicate with. Kept us well informed re: the arrival of the technician. Good service. I think the price was fair.

    Fridge/Freezer Repair

    Ice maker on fridge kept freezing up. Technician replaced entire ice maker and circuit board at back. Works great now. Company was great at communicating timelines and also followed up.

    Get alternative quotes

    How can this company possibly justify charging $200 an hour for labour? It bears no relationship to what the technician is paid nor to an acceptable mark-up for overhead and a reasonable profit. Plus they are making a massive profit on parts. Once the technician replaced the defective parts he told me that the air flow was still weak - but he couldn’t do anything about that. Instead, he suggested that I buy the necessary implement at Home Depot and do it myself. Shocking.

    Washing Machine

    They are grossly incompetent. I am required to use them as part of the warranty on the washing machine. They have cancelled the appointment 3 times on the day of. They have not responded to emails. When I call I am put directly on hold, and then after 15 minutes the system hung up on me.

    Excellent communication and service and repair.

    Service was top notch from beginning to completion. Great communication and follow-up. Andre arrived to diagnose my front-load LG washer, which as it turns out, needed a new motor. He ordered the part and came back the following week to install it. He was friendly and professional, did a thorough and quick installation. I would highly recommend ARS.

    Fridge and dryer

    Nikolay Z was amazing he came in with all Covid protocols he was very professional , came in found out the problem with in 10 min and ordered the parts needed for my fridge .. he also explained the issue with the dryer and told us if it happens again to give him a call
