I always wait a few months before writing a review because I want to confirm that I'm not getting fleeced or into potential problems in the future. So I am happy to Climax a glowing review. Furnace of 20 years old broke down on a cold day in May 2019. Same day response on my request, called Sam, and hooked us up with an appointment in a a couple days. This is where Sam shines. I'm a pain in the rear consumer. I'll ask a hundred questions and poke and prod (sorry but past poor experiences) to make sure I'm not going to get crap. Never got frustrated. Took the time to explain. That alone bumps up a star. Anyway, his team came in. Installation was not disruptive. And clean. Laid down a tarp. Not tracking mud. Explained what they were doing. And in the end, let me inspect the work without feeling that offended. Other companies and contractors need to learn from these guys. Needless to say 10 star. I had an occasion where our central air died and decided not to move forward. Sam mentioned I should replace but suggested some options but I just didn't feel like paying for work if the unit was definitely done. Hope nothing has changed after half a year because I will reach out to them in 2021 if we decide to replace the central air. Keep up the good work and service, guys!

Our furnace broke down in the morning of December 23. Worried that we would be without heat till January, we called ClimaxAir. Ali arrived within 30 minutes (!) and installed the new furnace within 4 hours! Both Ali and his technician were professional, polite, and ready to answer any questions that we might have had. Finally the working area was left spotlessly clean and our house warm. Who could ask for anything more? We shall certainly rely on them for any future needs and will recommend their services to all our friends and neighbours.

Had to get red tagged gas leaking furnace fixed. Moe came by, gave me options, and managed to fix it all the same day. Was polite, professional, and excellent service on Christmas Eve when others closed. Thank you!

Our furnace broke down and at 16 years old we knew it was coming time to replace it. It was no longer efficient, and the fan was weak. The Climax team came over to see if they could fix the furnace but based on what they saw and the high levels of carbon monoxide coming out the exit vent we decided to replace the furnace. They came in the next morning and efficiently replaced the furnace with a Amana. 2 days later we can feel the difference. Air is getting to our upper floors, it is very quiet, and it heats our house quickly. The price seemed fair, and the work done was great. Highly recommend them.

Our furnace broke down on Tuesday and the temperature was dropping fast. I called a family friend who did some previous HVAC work and he said he could come out around 9pm that day. I got a call from him at 6:30pm that he was tied up and couldn't make it. I was in a panic as the temperature was dropping fast in the house. I found Climax Heating and looked at the reviews and thought I couldn't go wrong with the hundreds of positive reviews. I reached Mike by phone and he told me a technical would be out around 9pm. I got a call from Yusun about 30 minutes before arrival and he arrived on time. He explored the issue and unfortunately we had to replace our entire furnace. It didn't make financial sense to just replace a blower motor with an old furnace. He stayed on-site until 10:30pm and was very professional and helped us with our options. We chose a unit based upon our discussions and he said their team would be out the following morning. I texted him at 11:30pm as I had a few other questions about the unit and was surprised he answered my texts right away so late. I called him the following morning as to the ETA of their technicians to arrive with the unit and he had Sam (the owner) call me back and assured me someone would be on-site very soon. Mohammed arrived and right away got to work. He did a terrific job, cleaned up the area and even installed our new unit better than our old one. He even took the time to explain the inside of the unit on what a technician should be doing to clean and maintain it. In less than 24 hours, we had heat back on in our house. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Our 15 year old Carrier furnace broke down unexpectedly after a power outage.. After a quick search on HomeStars.ca to find a top-rated company, I decided on Climax HVAC and called at 2:30pm in the afternoon. Their technician Ali responded almost immediately and arrived at my house in 15 minutes! Upon inspection, he recommended replacing it with a furnace by reputable Canadian manufacturer Amana at a reasonable price as per his estimate. Ali & Reza returned the next day to handle the old furnace removal and new install. They were punctual, friendly and professional throughout the entire process, which lasted approximately 3 hours. Both of them were courteous and very considerate, taking their time to lay down fresh clean red carpet (you know... our foyer looked exactly like Oscar Awards night!) liners from the front door all the way to the basement to protect my hardwood floor. Installation went smoothly; Ali also spent some time to fix an issue with my central humidifier. Overall, I am extremely pleased with the service from their competent technicians and have no reservation to refer Climax HVAC to family & friends!

The Technician (MOE) checked everything carefully , cleaned heat exchanger , replaced humidifier filter, and the vent motor. I found him to be very friendly and considerate , flexible of my financial situation, and made every effort to take care of me. Thanks so much !

I had to have my furnace and A/C replaced a few weeks ago and called on Climax Heating and Air Conditioning to come out and provide me with an assessment. Sam was the first person who I met with and I found him to be both professional and friendly. He arrived at the time specified and quickly went to task diagnosing the issue that I was having with my HVAC unit. Sam provided me with a clear explanation of what was wrong and explored the options of what to do next with me. I decided to buy both a furnace and a/c unit from Climax and Sam gave me a deal that was fair. He was able to arrange for the installation to happen the next day, which was great because the temperature had dropped and there was the potential for carbon monoxide leaking with my old HVAC unit. The next day, two techs from Climax arrived in the morning and on-time. Ali and Reza were both courteous and professional. They quickly went to work and ripped out my old units and installed the new ones during the same day. This job is quite extensive and they both finished up earlier than anticipated, which is always nice. I work from home and was initially worried about how disruptive the work was going to be, but Ali and Reza were able to do the job with minimal impact on my work. After the job was complete (and even during it) I had some questions that both Ali and Reza took the time to answer for me. I noticed a few minor issues that needed attention after the job was complete. I contacted Sam to notify him and he arranged to have a tech come over to my place a few days later to take care of these issues, which they were to my satisfaction. Overall, I would give a 10/10 to Climax, Sam, Ali, and Reza. From start to finish they all did an exceptional job. A dual unit replacement is a significant cost and often causes some anxiety with homeowners (myself included). Sam and his team put my mind at ease and followed through on the quality of work that was promised. Reached out to a number of service providers via HomeStars. Sam from Climax Air was quick to respond and great to deal with. After a short phone conversation he provided me with a few options and quotes as well as recommended an electrician for the required electrical work. Sam then came by for an in-person visit and confirmed his initial quote. I continued to seek quotes from other reputable providers just to be sure, but Climax was the most competitive and readily available. Saeed, an installer came by to review the job and confirmed what Sam had told me with respect to the installation plan. Saeed appeared very knowledgeable and through some light conversation it was obvious that he had a wealth of experience. The unit I ordered was delayed by two weeks, however Sam was quick to communicate this and kept me up to date until the unit arrived two weeks later. Mo, the technician who dropped off the unit was very polite and respectful. His boots left some snow on my interior door mat, which is why it is there, but he insisted on taking the mat outside and cleaning it off. Saeed and the installation team we efficient and friendly. My 15 month old daughter was napping for much of the installation and the team was respectful of that. Again, the crew seemed very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions, was polite and respectful of my property. Its only been a few weeks since the unit was installed, but I am very happy with the job. These outdoor units and all the associated wiring can be a bit of an eyesore, but Saeed and team did a great job making it look as clean and as discrete as possible. Would recommend.

Today isn't the first time we've used Climax and we've always gotten amazing service and prices from this company. I sent an email at noon today and the problems were fixed by 2:15pm. What? How is that even possible? Sam was able to assess the issues over the phone by my descriptions and Mo came out in about an hour and fixed the furnace and water heater. Friendly, knowledgeable and very efficient is how I would describe them. I highly recommend this company.
