I had contacted this company to do an assessment of my furnace, due to recommendations from my home inspection. I originally found a different company through HomeStars but I did not hear back from them after about a week so I did another search and came across Climax Heating & AC. The very next day I got a call from Sam and we had someone come out to my home to complete an assessment within days. The service technician, Yones, did a cleaning and a full furnace inspection for $141. Due to the age of my furnace and how it was operating (i.e. increased chances of carbon monoxide), he recommended getting a new furnace sooner than later. Since my plan is to finish the basement this year, it just made sense to get a new furnace now as well, I agreed to move forward with a new furnace. Within the hour I was in contact with Sam to schedule a new furnace, he provided his recommendations on which furnace based on size of my house, what my needs are, and what manufacturers currently in the market offer great value. Also, by moving forward with the furnace they deducted the amount I paid for the assessment from my final cost of the new furnace. Within 2 days we had Yones and Moe install my new furnace, along with re-routing the intake valve outside. All staff I was in contact with were very professional, polite, provided great service, and were willing to take the time to educate me. Definitely a company I would recommend.

I called Climax Heating regarding an issue with my furnace and was able to have a technician come on site on the same day. The issue was resolved promptly and I’m quite satisfied with the service.

I had a tricky issue with my furnace short cycling and not turning off when set to “off” on the thermostat. My technician, Sam, diagnosed the problem in roughly 20 minutes (a faulty control panel), and acquired and installed the new part within 48 hours. This is our second time working with the company. I can't say enough good things about their service. I called yesterday for furnace repair. They arrived within the hour. They got the part overnight and came to fix it today. Sam found the warranty for the part and saved us $325. We only paid for labour. It would have been so easy for them to not have told us and pocketed that money, but they are honest and really care about their customers. Highly recommended!

Our furnace was turning itself off after 10 minutes of turning the heat on every time. Sam came by on a Saturday evening and was able to diagnose the problem. I really appreciated his patience in explaining the steps he took to diagnose the problem and even handled all the warranty process for the faulty component. He kept us updated through the week while the part was being sourced and was able to get the furnace back up and running. Courteous, honest, professional, and punctual - what more can you want?

Sam came to do an inspection on the furnace that determined the exchange heater possible had a crack so it needed to be replaced. Both the furnace and AC were over 15 years old, so we decided to change the full system and also get a tankless water heater. Sam was great during the intial visit and answered all my questions. I wanted to do my due diligence and I called a few other companies to compare pricing and offering (some also rated 99% in HomeStars). We end up going with Climax because of the professionalism, timely follow up and price. I arranged the date of the visit with Sam and the crew arrived at the time I was told. Moe, Resa and Ramin were also great and very friendly! They did their work very tidy, answered my million questions and put up with me looking at them work. Moe ensured that the installation was done up to code and he was mindful of maximizing the space being used so that I can continue to store my stuff where it was before. I'm very happy that I chose Climax for this job and I'm looking forward to enjoying the products for a very long time!!! So far, I can feel the difference in the heating of the house (it feels much warmer) and the supply of hot water has no difference from my old water heater with the benefit of not having to heat 50 gallons of water all day long. Can't wait for the first bill to come in to see some of the savings :) Thank you guys for your great work!

Our furnace started leaking water from the gas vent back into the furnace and it was starting to pool. After reaching out to Climax I was contacted same day by Sam. After a quick assessment over the phone, Sam visited us a couple of days later. Sam called ahead to give me notice of his impending arrival which was a nice touch. Sam was very polite, professional in his work and gave me good advice about the furnace. The issue was promptly fixed and we couldn’t be happier.

Our home needed a full system replacement. Furnace, A/C and Hot Water. I called Climax because of the many favorable reviews on this site. Sam quoted the system, we accepted, and the installers were at work within a few days. Our old Toronto semi has a few quirks and complications which was the source a few challenges. They did a fantastic job, and the work looks great. We needed a follow-up visit to correct an issue with the A/C. When I called, a tech was at the door in just a few hours. Great service, great follow-up, quality people. Definitely give them a call.
