My AC wasn't working and was told by another company the compressor needed replacing. I won't go any further about this other company here, but long story short I decided to call Climax and I'm glad I did. Spoke to Sam who said he was basically booked for the next two days but would fit me in if there were any cancellations. To my surprise, Sam called towards the end of the next day saying he could come over. Sam was able to diagnose the problem and reassured me that there was nothing wrong with the compressor. Sam took the time to make sure my AC was working properly and provided information and tips I could use as a homeowner. His rate was also very reasonable. I would definitely call Climax for my future needs.

AC went unexpectedly during this heat wave...I called around 5:00...got a return call in less than 25 mins, and Sam was at my house a couple of hours later. The capacitor went and he fixed it within 10 mins. Highly recommended - Sam was a pleasure to deal with...Safe to say I had a cool night's sleep!

I noticed my AC unit stopped working yesterday. I called at 10pm and Sam answered and came the next day to fix it. He was very professional, helpful and had the part I needed for the repair. I’m a very happy customer.

Air conditioner was short cycling for a day; called Climax Heating and Air Conditioning the next day to explain problem and they were able to send a technician (Mo) right a way to diagnose and repair the problem during this hot weather. Very fast and professional service.

My a/c died last night during a heatwave. Climax responded to my after hours call quickly and were able to fit in a service call within a few hours of opening this morning. Our house temperature does not go down though the AC has been running for a few days. Sam arrived within 20 mins after my call. He checked machine, the furnace, the outlets, and he found out a big problem which is there is no returner in my house. Contractor covered the returner when they did the renovation! Sam is very professional. He did not suggest me to waste my money on replacing the AC, he said the old AC is working fine, I just need a returner. I really appreciate Sam’s professionalism and honesty!

After doing a lot of research and getting a few quotes, I chose Climax to do a 5-head ductless airconditioning install on my old 2.5 story victorian Toronto house. The house was built in 1908 so the install was not easy. I had 2 air-conditioning heads installed on the main floor, another 2 on the second floor and the 5th head on the 3rd floor loft. The outside condenser unit was mounted and installed on the wall at the side of the house in the shared walkway between my house and my neighbour's house. Sam helped me through the logistics of the install and was available and professional throughout. Because of the complexity of my house, they under-quoted me to begin with, but after getting several quotes I'm satisfied that I paid market price. The install team, led by Saeid, did a thorough and fantastic job. The inside heads were installed perfectly and the outside ductless lines were run with care and expertise. The crew was nice, and even fixed a problem with my stairs at no charge, which was a kind gesture. My biggest worry was that the condenser unit would protrude from my wall blocking the shared pathway, but this is not the case at all. It is mounted high enough and flush to the wall that you don't lose any space in the pathway at all. I am so happy with how it turned out. I've had the system for a month now and what surprises me is how quiet the condenser unit outside is. The system cools my house perfectly, and my electricity bills haven't noticeably gone up. The system is a Mitsubishi system and I couldn't be happier because the claims of reliability, efficiency and quietness seem to be true so far. I highly recommend Climax because the experience was great: from the scheduling process to the install to the customer service and the hardware (Mitsubishi system).

I am very pleased with the service received from Climax. Sam is accessible by telephone, and took the time to answer my questions. He and his team started and finished the A/C install on my scheduled date and time. His team was very professional, ensuring all details were covered off. I almost always turn down warranty services, but felt compelled to proceed with Sam and Climax, as I would not want anyone else tending to my A/C but Climax! Thank you for all your help.
