Mr. rooter was hired to hook up sink/faucets. Sink and facets were already purchased and plumbing just needed to be uncapped and connected. Mr. rooter employee had my son sign for payment of work before any numbers were written on the receipt. He stated that the work would cost $360 and that is why my son agreed to sign. By the end of the job he had the bill racked up to $1036. When he was confronted about this he said "you signed it". can someone help me?

Just 20 minutes after I called in for service Daniel arrived and installed the sink faucet I bought yesterday. After he told me everything in a very simple and friendly way he started to work upstairs. Fast, clean and friendly service! Thanks Mr. Rooter

I had a basement flood and the water was backed up in the sink which we had build in the kitchen area. As we got home, we noticed that there was water backing up from the basement kitchen sink and it kept gushing out. We immediately called Mr. Rooter and they came instantly and fixed the problem through snaking. Satisfied with their service.

They did not do a good job at all, very unfriendly and it seemed like one of the guys did not even know how to speak english. We were told that they would have to order parts and it would be additional costs, so we were shocked they never told us that in the free estimate. If you don't wanna get scammed for your money, don't go to rooters!

Robert showed up early, which in itself doesn't usually happen with big companies. He then explained why the person we had in to fix the problem before did not properly fix the clog and then did the job properly. He was friendly, fast, and after he was finished and cleaned up it looked like nothing had ever happened. Hopefully I don't have anymore plumbing problems in my house but if I do Robert is first on the list!

Fantastic Service! We needed a leaky shower tap fixed along with the handle. Anthony Petrauskus came in with a glowing smile and an even brighter energy about him. You could tell he enjoys his job and the interaction with his customers! He got down to business right away and took the time answer any questions we had with a little humour along with it. It was our first experience with Mr. Rooter and now we are lifelong customers (took the membership as well). I would highly recommend them. From the initial call Mr. Rooter has it right. I hope you get Anthony to help you with your plumbing issues because there are no issues when he steps through the door. He made sure the job was done right. He even ran out to grab a replacement handle because we didn’t have the car with us. We felt like a friend dropped by. Now that’s great service above and beyond. Anthony is a great brand ambassador for Mr. Rooter! What a pleasant experience! If you need a plumber please call them! :) Thanks again Anthony!

We had a leaky toilet tank which we thought we could replace ourselves. In the end we ended up buying a new toilet and tried to install it ourselves but our flange was installed crookedly which made the job to overwhelming. Anthony came to install our toilet and rigged it in such a way so that the new toilet is level. I wish I had called Mr. Rooter from the very beginning and saved myself all the headache leading up to it. The cost was also very reasonable for the job.

On Friday, June 1st 2012 with the severe rainstorm we had here in Toronto, my basement flooded quite severely. We had the city and insurance come out and both did nothing for us in terms of help/advice and offered us not a lot of information as to what was going on. They had no clue and recommended we call plumbers to check if it was anything to do with plumbing. Initially we called a private company that was referred to us by an acquaintance we knew at the local hardware shop. They came out and informed us it was a wide assortment of issues that needed to be immediately fixed or we could suffer health issues or even more damage. They quoted us a price of $43,000.00 which they knocked down from $48,000.00. Of course we were devastated by the price and decided to call Roto Rooter for a 2nd opinion. Roto Rooter came out almost immediately and were extremely friendly right off the bat. After giving a thorough inspection with the camera they were able to identify determine that the problem was in fact quite minor compared to the original quote and fixing the problem would only cost between $8,000-$10,000. I was in disbelief but very thankful. From $43,000.00 to only $10,000.00. Long story short, we got a life-time membership to Roto Rooter and wouldn't go with anybody else in the future, they're extremely friendly, helpful, look to do the job thoroughly and properly, and don't use any pressure tactics so you can make your own informed decision.

I was so happy with the service provided by Daniel he is very knowlegable ,well organize and he did his job very quick and clean.I will higly recommend him to friends and family.The cost is a little bit expensive but overall iits a job well done.

Les Malinski, the service person, came on time as appointed. He did an excellent job in fixing the problem the best way possible. Also did a good clean up of the area affected.
