    Dryer Samsung

    My dryer Samsung became to be very noisy during the work. I was happy to find the local repair service in Barrie. I Get phone call back to me in less then 15 minutes on Thursday evening, after I left my contact info. The technician R. arrived on Friday morning. He diagnosed the problem in a second and exchanged a few parts with cleaning my dryer in half an hour. I was supposed to get it fixed before the weekends, because it is very sensitive stuff for my big family, was imagining that I will wait for a week. And the price I paid was really reasonable! I will recomend this company to all my friends and also it saved at least more the thousand CAD.

    Dryer fix

    From the first call to the work being don’t everything was seamless. The person who fixed the machine wore a mask during the whole time inside the house and during the work that he performed. Was in for an hour or so and fixed the problem.

    Repair fridge & electric cooker

    Daniel was sent from Fix appliances to check the problem. He saw the issues and recommended to put new thermostat & evaporator motor. He convinced us that repairing is less expensive than going for a new fridge. Thanks Daniel. He also put a new handle on our electric stove. All was done in one visit. Excellent job & thanks Fix appliances

    Washing machine maintenance

    Service was great, arrived right on time. The person was very polite, very transparent about cost, and the work was done with no mess left behind. Definitely recommend, thank you!

    Refrigerator Repair

    Spent over 2 weeks and $2000+ on a repair for my fridge. "Warranty" doesn't even cover the compressor which was the most expensive part. Freezer still doesn't work. Now they want to me pay for another diagnostic to determine the issue. I'm done.

    Washing machine repair

    Both the water pump and rubber seal went on our washing machine. The technician was able to come and assess the issue on Canada Day and then able to repair it by July 4. The technician was polite, respectful and most importantly competent. The machine works better than ever! I am glad I chose to repair the machine and keep it out of landfill.

    Poor warranty, same problem showed up after repair

    I got service for a fridge in Sep 2019. The diagnosis was to replace the defrost kit. It worked for a few months but the same issue showed up in June 2020. They only offer a 90 day warranty, which is terrible. It should be at least a year. I paid $500 for the repair and it didn't even work. They now want to schedule a new service call which is another $275. I can get a new fridge for that price. Customer service was not of any help. Still waiting for a resolution.

    Refrigerator repair

    Daniel was respectful wearing a mask and knew exactly what he was doing . He told us the 2 things that could be causing the problem. Luckily it was the less expensive one to fix and while he was fixing it he gave the whole fridge a little maintenance.

    Upright Freezer/Refrigerator (revised rating)

    Had my upright freezer repaired about a month ago and left Fix a 10 star review. On Thursday July 30 I found a pool of water around my non-running refrigerator. Put food in coolers and called Fix in a panic. Took them about 2 hours to get back to me. They told me they could have someone look at it on Tuesday August 4. I asked them if they were joking. Unfortunately they were dead serious. Reminded them that all our food was about to spoil and that having no refrigerator for 5 days during a heatwave was unworkable. They offered no reason why 5 days and gave me no suggestions on alternative solutions. If this is how you deal with return business then I have to revise my initial rating. Managed to find another company able to come in less than 24 hours. Thanks for nothing Fix.
