    Plumbing

    We were very impressed with John’s level of service and expertise. He promptly gave us an appointment for the following morning. Before he came, he asked for a photo of our toilet flusher so that he could give us a quote for the toilet, as well as for our clogged sink, and to ensure that he had the parts. His estimate turned out to be an accurate quote. John also discovered an additional problem under the sink and, luckily, had the part on hand. John was punctual and even texted us to let us know his estimated time of arrival. When he arrived, he put on little booties. He worked quickly and neatly, using his many rags to protect the floor under the sink. John also told us how to take care of our sink pipes in the future. He wore a mask (for COVID) the entire time. John was very pleasant and professional. We highly recommend him!

    Amazing, fast service

    I emailed John on a Sunday night about having kitchen sink drain pipes replaced, and he responded within two hours with a quote. At first I thought he misunderstood the nature of the job because his quote seemed low for what needed to be done (unsoldering and resoldering brass pipes to install a new p-trap assembly) but nope, he simply charges fair prices. I spoke with him on a Monday, and he was here the very next day. John was an absolute professional, right down to the protective booties he wore (as well as Covid-friendly mask and gloves). Top-notch workmanship and he was in and out in less than half an hour, far quicker than I expected. I'll definitely be calling John for future plumbing jobs -- highly recommended!

    Cold Water Cutoff Valve, Humidifier Valve, Garden Hose Tap: Replaced

    John removed an unneeded leaking cold water shutoff valve and replaced a leaking humidifier valve on the same section of pipe, then replaced a leaking garden hose tap in the garage: in under an hour! A pleasure doing business with him again.

    Fixed leaky shutoff valves

    Preparing for winter, I tried to shut off my external faucets (hose bibs). Unfortunately my shutoff valve leaked. I looked up Dima here on Homestars. I sent a message through the Dima website. An hour later, John contacted me and gave me a price. I had contacted others and John's price was the same as another but his rating was higher. John came the next day as promised ontime. He was prompt, professional, COVID safe! No issues.

    Clogged main pipe

    John was very professional and reasonable. He is very honest and quick to solve a problem. I had a badly clogged main line and he very efficiently fixed it. I would highly recommend this company.

    Replaced Garden Tap, Ball Valve, and Toilet Repair

    John did a fine job replacing our leaking garden tap and installed a new ball valve inside the house. He also replaced the inside of our toilet tank with all new parts, and kindly straightened and sealed the wobbly base, unasked. No more leaks! What he quoted is what he charged. I appreciated the precautions he took during these covid times (mask, gloves, booties.)

    Great Service great workmanship great price

    I was in urgent need to get my drain trap repaired after it cracked and started to flood my place. John worked hard to squeeze me in to an AM appointment. When he showed up he was prepared for the job at hand and did it quickly with quality workmanship. Great service overall. I normally am very sceptical of online reviews but in this case from my experience they were accurate. Will refer him for future work.

    Bathroom faucet repair

    I called John and emailed him a picture of our leaky bathroom tub faucet. Within a couple of hours he responded with a reasonable quote and was at our condo the next day. He came prepared with the necessary parts and was finished in half an hour. He also noticed our toilet was a little shakey and tightened up the bolts and caulked around the base for us. Everything went smoothly from start to finish, no surprises. I would definitely recommend John and will keep his business card handy for any other projects we need done in the future.

    A couple of jobs

    John has done a few jobs for me over the last few years and every time he was very accommodating in terms of scheduling and was on time every time. Courtesy and efficiency has been the hallmark of his work with me with every job. I even had a chance to "test" his warranty on one job. Absolutely no questions asked ... just came in record time and addressed the issue. Needless to say, John has become our "go to guy" for any plumbing issue that we might have. :)

    Tub Spout replaced

    I tried to replace the tub spout as there is a big gap since I bought the house but ended up have a leak after. So I called John. He came promptly with a new spout. He cut the pipe and sealed 2 extensions (1 head) to make sure the new spout and the pipe fit. Then he put on tape and sanded the controller and the pipe and put in the spout. He used clear silicone to seal up. Very detailed and dedicated work. Honest and professional. I wish I found him earlier.
