    Fixed the vent pipe for a gas water heater

    I contacted Dima Plumbing late Monday night when I discovered that the vent pipe for my gas water heater was no longer attached! John got back to me at 7:00 am the next morning offering me an appointment at 10:30 am that day. He and Andre arrived on time and quickly completed the repair. They added extra pipe to ensure that the attachment would remain secure. I feel extremely relieved that a potential source of carbon monoxide poisoning was fixed so promptly! Not only did I receive excellent, reasonably priced work but also polite, professional service. I won't hesitate to contact John the next time that I need plumbing work done.

    Install new toilet

    I called Dima Plumbing this morning to arrange an appointment and they were able to visit this afternoon. Excellent service, professional, on time, reasonably priced. I won't hesitate to call them again in the future.

    great service

    Hired these guys to replace a faucet - they did great work for a fair price - they also came really quickly and were very nice to deal with. I will definitely be calling on them again.

    Replacing Leaky kitchen faucet

    I would always recommend Dima Plumbing. They are very professional and friendly. I called John for a leaky kitchen faucet replacement and he gave me a quote over the phone. He arrived perfectly on time with his assistant and got the job done in a very neat and professional manner. The leaky faucet issue completely resolved and we are very satisfied with his service. I would not hesitate to call Dima Plumbing for any of my future plumbing needs.

    Shut off valve installation

    Dima Plumbing was excellent from start to finish. From the first call to inquire about their services to get a quote...given an estimate on when they could do the work...notified when they were on their way...communication was excellent...crucial when you have to coordinate with the city, you have a leak and your main water line shut off valve is not working. Two ball joint shut off valves were installed quickly and work was completed well and clean. They were courteous, conscientious and thorough. We will definitely call Dima Plumbing again.

    Top Quality People & Service

    John Dima & his assistant (Sorry, I didn't get his name.) arrived promptly at the scheduled time. They put on booties to protect the floors and got to work immediately. John showed me a problem with installing the new toilet as the flexible pipe was too short for this taller unit. He attached an extension and a new valve onto the floor pipe. Problem solved. In hooking up the water line to the new fridge he showed me a problem with the previous installation of the water line from the sink plumbing. (I remember the previous subcontractor from another company. Sloppy work, poor attitude, no cleanup.) I was not surprised to discover, as John explained it to me, that the other plumber had installed the wrong clamp. It was compressing the plastic pipe and restricting water flow to both the sink supply as well as to the fridge. A couple of minutes, a few more tools, and some parts from the truck: problem solved. John and his assistant showed me how to flush the internal fridge system to get clean water throughout. The old toilet was disassembled and put out to the curb for pick up. All work areas were left spotless. A good morning for me with great service, high standards, ready solutions for unexpected problems, reasonable pricing, and personable, friendly people. Got a plumbing concern in their service area? You can't do better than Dima Plumbing. I recommend them highly for the quality of service provided and the peace of mind they give. I will definitely use them again.

    Assorted Plumbing Needs

    After a water softener installation by an HVAC company, we encountered poor cold water pressure in our Master bath shower, our kitchen sink and the washing machine. Dima plumbing came out and identified and solved the problem in each area. They were very professional and thorough. I would definitely recommend John for your plumbing needs. John told us that the HVAC company should have flushed the system before installing the new water softener. That would have prevented the issues we encountered. Too bad we didn't call Dima first.

    Disconnect water supply from old refrigerator

    I highly recommend Dima Plumbing. John and his assistant Andre came on time, disconnected the water supply from our old fridge, then came back to connect the new fridge when it arrived. They even helped me align the new fridge doors, something that should have been done by the appliance delivery people. I am going to ask them back for a new sink and faucet installation next month. Very courteous and very skilled!

    Sewer main backup

    We discovered that we had a pool of water in our basement coming from our floor drain. Our house has a back flow valve, so the blockage was coming from our house. I contacted Dima via Homestars that evening and received a prompt response. John and Andre showed up the next day and cleared our main (tree root), and suggested further action to alleviate this issue. Very professional service.

    Exterior Water bib installation

    I moved into a house about a year and a bit ago and realized we had no exterior water connection. I had previously contacted a few companies who gave me high quotes and told me part of my finished basement would require minimal demo. I decided to try again and contacted John at Dima plumbing and he provided me a quote the same day at a fair and reasonable price and scheduled the job the following day. John showed up, worked efficiently and showed me the workings of our new connection, how to drain the line for winter and i hate to admit it, but he showed me where our main water valve shut off was. I highly recommend DIMA plumbing and will definitely be going to them first for any future plumbing projects or repairs.
