before I call, I already know what's the issue. but the girl stopped me on explaining it, and saying a possional technician will come and tell me that's wrong. I had asked for price listing, he said he do not have any. I had asked for centrifed certificate, he said he didn't bring it. in the end, to avoid paying 330+ only for the lid switch. he disconnected the lid switch and charging us 160+tax. so, do not waste your time & money. and do not waste their precious labour. STAY AWAY. here is the producer of the washer selling price for the parts. SO STOP SAY yours is certified. what you try to do is making 100 dollar on a single parts. which is 200% Gross Margin. Would never use this company again ! Technician had no interest in fixing problem properly (ordering parts) always recommending the cheap and easy way (for him). Spent $150 and have the exact same issue ( - vacuumed coils $80) which took 5 min.

Stay away and don’t make the call!! The repairman who came to our house to attempt to fix our Electrolux range was polite and courteous and tried his best to repair it. He instructed us that the part needing replacement cost $600 and so we gave a deposit of half. Unfortunately after another visit the part he believed was not that at all and thought it to be something else. In the end, he couldn’t fix the problem. THE MANAGER, HAS BEEN UNCOOERATIVE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. Despite numerous calls and requests to seek our refund (minus the service call amount of course) has been to no avail. It has been a month and he has not returned any of our calls, nor has he refunded our money!!! STAY AWAY!!!!

We called the Fixman ad on Kijiji for dryer repair. Later we came to know that the company was called Express Appliance Repair. They sent Roman over. He found that one of the two 30Amp fuses in our fuse box was missing. We took out a fuse from another socket and he placed it in the spot. He charged us $140 for repairs, instead of $79 for diagnosis. His argument was, 'you dryer is working, is it not?' In retrospect, we should not have handed him our fuse but put it in ourselves! No upfront repair cost was mentioned. If he had mentioned that he would charge $140 for putting in a fuse, we would not have gone ahead with the repairs. No upfront repair cost was mentioned to us. If he had mentioned that he would charge us $140 for putting in a fuse, we would certainly not agreed to it but would have done it ourselves. Very unreasonable pricing. Will not call them again.

My repair man showed up on time. Proceeded to dismantle the machine. Opened the pump and immediately discovered the problem... very efficient and friendly.

Roman came on the same day that I called. He took our microwave out of the wall and took the outer casing off. He checked the door latches and tested various areas to see if they were getting power. He settled on a small fuse that seemed not to be working. He went to get a new fuse and replaced it and everything worked well. He replaced the microwave back into the wall. He was polite, tidy, efficient, and knowledgeable. I would definitely call them again.
