The salesman Chris, and complete staff were a pleasure to deal with. Clear, patient, explained process and timing, and were very courteous throughout. The installation crew were exceptional, competent, neat, qualified and timely. Nothing was shelved off to somebody else, but they took complete control and responsibility for the total installation, even working with our extra digital lock.

The lintel was not capped on my replacement window when it was installed. After a couple of phone calls, I was told they don't cap lintels. The window it replaced had been capped and the exposed lintel is peeling and looks a mess. I was told a manager would get back to me. No one did. After several calls and no response from the first employee, I spoke with the installation manager who was going to send me a copy of the regulations that say they can't cap lintels. He never did this and doesn't answer messages. His voice mailbox is now full. I was told I could have the lintel capped if I signed a waiver but without any information about why they say they can't finish the job, I am reluctant to sign anything. I am being ignored by more than one employee of this company, so can only assume it is company policy to stonewall long enough to make me give up. There is supposed to be a 25 year warranty. I dread the thought of trying to get any repair work done if it should be needed.

Ordered door in November - waited until April, then late came in May. Dan the sales guy said they would build a custom wider door to remove sidelights. They didn’t - brought standard door that didn’t fit, after 6 month wait. No refund from company- lost our 1500 deposit. Don’t use this company. Unprofessional, unreliable, not trustworthy and will not refund your deposit.

The new windows look amazing. I want to mention that Alexei crew were great. From the moment they show up they were very friendly and professional. They were very careful with everything inside and outside the house. Before leaving they clean up and made sure that we were happy with the work done. Thank you Alex, great job.

My experience with Nordik started out with such high hopes. I had seen their instagram ads and liked their work so I filled out a request to have someone contact me for a quote. I did this on a Saturday afternoon and they called me Sunday morning, I thought "wow! great service". The woman I spoke to on the phone was very pleasant and we booked a time for a sales person to come out to my property that coming week. Following that phone call, I received a confirmation email of the appointment and then another email introducing me to my sales rep. Again, excellent communication and process. The sales person came out to the house at the time proposed and proceeded to measure everything up. He was ok, but our personalities didn't jive, which is fine. He spent 45 minutes telling me about how great Nordik is and that they bought up a bunch of companies to become the largest window and door company who manufactures their products and how great everything was. He then left and said he would be in touch with a quote over the next couple days (which was fine as we really didn't have a timeline). Then, not 14 hours later, at 9am this morning, I get a very unprofessional email from the sales rep, copied below. Subject: quote "i spoke to our installation manager regarding the work you want to get done. Unfortunately we don't have the resources at this time to do the type of work that you require. Great meeting you and i wish you all the best" Not Hi, Hello, good morning, just this. So after the 45 minutes I spent with the sales rep, completely wasting my time, they are not even going to try and quote my job. I guess Nordik has more than enough business and isn't interested in new business. For something that started out so well, to end like this is a tragedy. I will never call Nordik for anything again and will never recommend them to anyone.

We installed a front door. The workers were professional and installed it in a timely manner with minimal disruption even during this time of pandemic. They left the work area clean once they were done and also installed our doorbell.

When we needed to replace the windows and sliding doors in our home, we chose Nordik because of the quality and look of the windows, the professional sales team, and the positive reviews we read about the company. The quality of the windows and the look were as we expected, but the service we received was unacceptable and it took over 5 months for the job to be completed to a satisfactory level. We do not recommend Nordik Windows. Our windows and doors were installed on November 5th. Due to mismeasurements done by the Nordik team, two windows were the wrong size when they arrived and were not able to be installed. In addition, we ordered windows that were black on the outside and white on the inside. The screens on our sliding doors and several of the windows were black on the inside. After weeks of trying to get the proper attention from Nordik Windows customer service the windows were re-measured and re-ordered. Because of this delay the windows were not able to be installed before the company shut down for the holidays and were only installed in February. We spent countless hours trying to get through to someone at Nordik who could order the proper screens. At one point the incorrect screens were ordered and a service person was sent out with black screens for a second time. Finally in April, 5 months after the first install date, the company was able to replace the black screens. Nordik offered us $250 off a $15,000+ job as compensation for the delay and unsatisfactory service we received. However if we accepted we had to sign a document saying we would not post a negative review. We decided to not take the inadequate compensation. This company is a mess, and not worth the time and energy it will take to ensure that the job is completed properly. Go with another company.

DO NOT use this company. My experience is that they take your money and don't finish the job. And good luck getting someone to call you back. It has been a terrible experience and I wish I had never called them for a quote. I had 3 basement windows replaced April 5, 2021. The installers left without capping the windows and nothing was said about when they would be back. I had to call 3 times before tracking someone down to schedule the capping. The installer they sent to cap the windows told us that he didn't think we should do it and that different windows should have been put in. I've called 5x since then to understand why we were told this and am still waiting to hear when they will be capped. It has been a month and no end in sight for what should have been a simple job. Terrible customer service and terrible experience.

My 2 patio doors were have problems opening & closing. Daniel was fantastic and able to fix promptly. He was very professional and knowledgeable. North Star warranty is amzaing right from my first phone call to inquire what can be done.

We got windows installed that had chips on the screen. Daniel came and made a new frame for the screen and it looks perfect. Very pleased with the efficiency of work.
