    windows

    I had two windows installed. The work was done smoothly and professionally and I would recommend Nordik. I have used them for all the windows in my home.

    Terrible Customer Service

    Had windows installed and noticed a defect in one. Representative came and said a part needed to be ordered. No problem so far. Nine months have gone by and problem has not been fixed. First part was broken; three appointments were cancelled for various ridiculous reasons. Next visit, glass was cut too small. Now apparently the part is in again, but phone representative wont schedule an evening or weekend appointment, wont put me through to someone higher up so that I can speak with someone who can actually help me. I have taken several days off work only to have appointments canceled or parts broken or incorrect. I dont know what to do with this company other than to warm others to stay away. They were quick to take my money for the windows, but very unwilling to accommodate on service ( for there mistakes). Not to mention you can wait up to an hour on hold when you do try to call for assistance.

    Issue after issue after issue

    Worst Customer Service EVER!!! I have left customer service 3 messages in under 10 days with NO response. These messages were regarding our three windows that ALL NEEDED to be replaced due to frost in between window panes (Master bedroom has already been replaced two times), second bedroom needed replaced for the second time and third bedroom needed replaced as when installed the two panes were in different tints! They were to come out and install all of these windows (after waiting almost 10 months) to hear one set was broken from the installer and had to be reordered. It was our decision to wait until the replacement window arrived and have all three installed at once. After leaving THREE messages to try and discuss replacement window ETA etc and never hearing back- we got a generic email at the end of October 2022 stating our replacement window has been ordered and estimated arrival is September 22, 2022 and no that is NOT a typo with those dates! This is on top of us battling (and again NOT hearing back from a MANAGER) with them regarding our extensive damage to our hardwood floors after a defective garden door was installed (the door alone cost $5,000). I was asked by this manager to get various quotes and once received would be submitted for approval to be paid for the repairs. The quotes were submitted back in February 2022 and have heard NOTHING even after numerous follow up attempts. In addition to this our Mirage screen door was also installed incorrectly and after customer service were unable to reach Mirage, we called the vendor ourselves and easily had a rep come out and provide us a quote for the new insert needed and was also told by THIS SAME MANAGER they would submit that quote for approval to get the work done. This quote was submitted in the spring and I have tried to follow up with NO RESPONSE BACK FROM THE MANAGER! THE ONLY GREAT THING WITH OUR EXPERIENCE IS DEALING WITH JASON ONE OF THEIR INSTALLERS WHO IS AMAZING IN HIS TRADE AND THEY ARE DARN LUCKY TO HAVE HIM AS PART OF THEIR TEAM!!!!

    Front Door

    Terrible experience and service. In the Spring of 2021 we decided to upgrade our builder installed front door. After due diligence with quotes from multiple vendors we decided to proceed with Nordik. The sales person seemed honest and genuine in their advice cautioning us that many other vendors would promise expedited delivery times to get our business but that we should expect a more realistic time frame of Sep 2021; about 6 months. We were advised to purchase our own door handle to save some money being assured that every handle would be a fit. We proceeded with Nordik. We purchased the handle in the summer expecting delivery / install in September. September came and went. We waited patiently. Another few months went by and were finally informed that there were delays but no time line could be provided. Finally, in February we were advised our door arrived and would be installed. We were excited but worried about a major install on Winter. We were assured this would not affect quality. Against our better judgement we went ahead. The door was installed on the coldest day of the year at around -30 degrees. The door handle did not fit. We immediately had to scramble to purchase another. The front entrance missing for almost 6 hours through the delay. The furnace gave out. The install continued into the evening. Finally it was done. The next morning we saw the workmanship for the first time. The caulking was done as if by a 5 year old. Uneven, messy. Understandable given the cold weather. How could anyones hands sustain the cold? We noticed also that the panel was dented. After many phone calls we were assured it would be addressed. 2 months later we had someone out to inventory the issues. Were advised it could be fixed and the dented panel could be replace but they would have to order and manufacture the panel. We waited. And waited. Then finally in October of 2022 they were ready to do the work. Scheduled appointments. Cancelled last minute. And today, the service guy shows up and starts to inventory the issues. I was confused. He states that he is here only to see whats wrong. I show him the emails that show this was already done. That we were informed they had the parts and were going to repair the issues. He is confused as well. His order number doesnt show that and my emails with the order number cant be found. So here we are. Almost 2 years later. Out almost 8000 dollars. A shoddy door. And no immediate expectation that a resolution is coming soon.

    Windows & Patio Doors

    Peter was our salesman from the minute he can to the door we liked him right away. He was relaxed, on time. Peter did not push us into buying any thing we didn't want. Peter knows his product very well and he had a lot of good advise for us. It was a pleasure meeting Peter I just wish all salesmen were as good as him Thanks Peter

    New Windows and Sliding Doors

    We chose Chris from Nordik as he gave us good advice on what kind of windows to choose. His product knowledge was amazing. He was very professional, detail oriented and well spoken. His presentation stood out from all the rest. It was a pleasure to work with him.

    Patio door replacement

    Door is ok. This company needs to do a better job with their install process. We were asked to change our install date to one day earlier. No problem! Except no one showed up and no one from the company called til 3:50 PM to tell me they wouldnt make it that day. They gave me a $150 credit for hanging around all day. Re-booked for the following week. I missed a phone call to ask me to re-book again so never called back to re-schedule. The installer was scheduled between 8-10am yesterday. At 10:30 I called to find out where they were. Apparently the installer went to the wrong location to pick up our door. This was similar to the first days excuse: the installer went to the wrong address first. So yes, we have a new door. The caulking around the door isnt the neatest and they also broke a few bricks taking out the old door. We wanted to buy Canadian made, but Id suggest going elsewhere.

    Window screens

    We were unable to remove window screens for cleaning. The one screen we were able to remove we were unable to put it back on. The tech from Nordik windows was able to solve the problem easily. The screens are now easy to remove and replace. Haig was very pleasant and helpful. My windows are now clean and the screens are on.

    New windows and doors

    Dan went above and beyond. Cannot say enough amazing things about him!!! Absolutely recommend Dan answered all of my questions - even when I asked them multiple times. He walked me through every step of the process multiple times. He was easy to get ahold of, even after normal business hours.
