We have used junk removal services from other companies in the past and weren't expecting much of anything other than a couple of summer students or minimum wage workers doing the very least possible to get the work done, especially considering we had only bought an online coupon rather than paying their normal rate. We bought the coupon for 1/6th of a truck service thinking we'll get rid of a good chunk of accumulated junk and would use a 2nd coupon from another company for the remainder.
The service was far better than we were expecting. When we called to book we spoke to a very friendly gentleman who gave us several days to chose from. Joel and Cearan called 15min before arriving, early in the 2hr window given when booking (2hr window for service! that was awesome on it's own! most places say something like 9-5..). Both Cearan and Joel were very polite, well groomed, with clean uniforms, and were eager to get work done.
We had our coupons worth in the truck within about 15min of hardcore working. We were so impressed with these two gents though that we asked them if they would be willing to do the rest of our stuff at the normal rate. They naturally eagerly agreed and emphasized on several occasions that they would do whatever it takes to get happy customers with repeat business.
All in all both my wife and I were thoroughly impressed, and there is not a doubt in my mind that we would use and recommend Joel and Cearan, as well as 1-800-Rid-Of-It, to anyone;including my mother.
