    Fast and friendly

    Rid-Of-It called before the appointed time and arrived within the first half hour of the scheduled time. Paul and Art were very friendly and managed even the heavy things happily. The truck was a bit smaller than I expected, so my load ended up filling a truck. I had some very heavy items so it ended up costing quite a bit more.

    Thanks for submitting this review, dumping fees have been increasing amongst everything else, such as fuel and labour which has impacted pricing. The heavy items unfortunately cost more to dump, but we try to be as economical as possible and hopefully punctuality and the customer service we provide makes up for that!     Junk removal

    Great job Paul and Josh. On time and extremely helpful. There was a requirement to interface with a concierge. Done with grace! I think Paul is from Liverpool, UK which makes him my hero!!

    Junk Removal

    I just used rid of it to get rid of some old carpets. From the beginning the service was prompt and hassle free. Anjay and Josh were quick to remove the items and dry pleasant.

    Junk removal

    Removal of a bunch of old stuff from the basement, including a heavy old treadmill that needed to be disassembled. They were on time, quick and efficient. Thanks guys. Appreciate the effort

    Deck Reno & Carpet Junk Removal: Nice and Efficient

    Josh and Anjay were friendly and efficient in removing all the old wood and carpet from my deck and basement renovation. Were all done in about 20 minutes. Would use the service again with these two guys as they were good to work with.

    Amazing Service

    My family and I are currently doing some landscaping and could not fit any of the old yard pieces in our vehicle to transport. After a quick google search we found this fantastic company and were able to schedule a pickup promptly. Paul and Anjay were absolutely fantastic! They were on time and didn't even mind when my brother and I insisted on helping them load the truck. Quick, efficient and reasonably priced. Thank you for all your help gentlemen!

    Took sooooo much junk from me!

    I was doing a big exterior reno, taking out my front deck, concrete steps and a lot of sod. If you don't know, sod is really, really heavy. Ed & Gordon came by from Rid Of It the same day I booked and gave me a quote on the spot. Since there was a lot of heavy junk, they even provided cheaper options like renting a dumpster bin and filling it myself. I ultimately chose to have them remove everything for me, and they did so happily. What a hard working couple guys! Thank you Ed, Gordon, and Rid of It for the great work. For anyone starting a big renovation project, I suggest you contact these guys in advance to go over the bin rental options.

    Removing old furniture before a move

    Josh and Anjay were excellent. They were on time and worked fast. They knew exactly what they were doing. They got a huge couch out the door with no trouble when I was sure we'd have to take the door off. Real pros.

    Removal of commercial washer and dryer

    Tech support on the phones was excellent, the guys were very friendly, on time and good. That was very much appreciated. The task took longer than expected, and we could a have saved ourselves a few hundred bucks by dismantling and sledge hammering the machines ourselves. We had not thought of it, I guess that is what we payed for. We were happy to get the job done, but the cost was much higher then we had anticipated.

    Picking up and disposing of a couch

    Called the company on Saturday to arrange for pick up and disposal of a couch. Spoke to Derek twice and confirmed an appointment between 11 am -3 pm Sunday . Called on Sunday around 2.10 pm to inquire if they are close by. Derek sounded a bit confused as to which day they are supposed to come. Said he will call me in two minutes and he never did... An hour later I called 1-800-got-junk? They came within 2 hrs and called me twice to let me know what time they will be at my home. This is what I call a reliable company .
