    Great Guys and Fast at Removing Junk

    Randy and Lucas came over to haul away an old patio set, cedar planters and a bookcase from my rooftop patio 3 stories up. It was a lot of work but they were able to clear half a truck load in just over an hour. They were very careful not to damage any walls as they were brought things down. Very happy with the service. Highly recommended.

    Fast and easy

    I requested same-day service and booked it online; very easy. The boys (Garrison and Roman) were right on time, friendly and very fast. Would definitely recommend. Will use them again for sure.

    House Cleanup

    Lucas and Derek from Rid of It Toronto arrived at our home when needed them most. They called 15 minutes before they arrived and introduced themselves in a very professional manner. They quickly got to work and accomplished more than we expected in a very short period of time. They were efficient and respectful of our home and made a difficult task easy to deal with. Thank you!!!

    Home reno waste

    The two guys on site were very professional and pleasant. They removed the waste quickly and cleanly. However, the website is misleading when it comes to understanding pricing. The front page is very clear on what the costs are per cubic yard, it even has a calculator. Nowhere on the front page does it say that there might be a weight charge. Maybe this is common in the industry but it was not clear to me. Nor was it made clear when I booked the appointment. This makes the experience with this company feel very negative. Buyer beware and read the fine details and confirm by phone.

The web site can only offer general pricing. It is impossible to give firm pricing until we actually see what is to be disposed of. We are charged by weight when we dispose of the items and pricing is set for general junk. When the junk is deemed, by the crew, to be heavier then general junk we do apply a weight charge. This is indeed the industry standard. This is also why the crew gives the client the firm price onsite before they start working. I hope this helps you understand our charges. Rick

    Heavyweight job

    Roman and Sam removed a cast iron bathtub (300-350 lb.), exercise machine and a large bag of insulation from my basement. The cost of the bathtub had been negotiated with the dispatcher; the additional items were negotiated quickly to mutual satisfaction. Sam and Roman worked quickly and carefully with a difficult load. I was satisfied then and remain so.

    Fence material removal

    Garrison & Lucas came this morning and removed the fence material we'd just taken down. The cost was pretty close to the quote is been given over the phone, understandable that it was a bit more given that they hadn't seen it. They were quick and professional... Swept up and left the backyard looking good.

    Stress Free Junk Removal

    I called 1 800 Rid Of It because of a referral from a friend. Lucas and Doug came to do the job. Both men were polite, and efficient. I had many bulky, heavy items that I needed removed from my home and they did it in less than 30 minutes!     Junk removal

    Two guys (Roman & Doug) showed up to the pick up site after calling first, efficiently took away a lot of furnishings, payment was taken and the job completed. They were polite, professional and quick. It was an easy process and I was grateful for their availability.

    Basement cleanout!

    Garrison & Lucas were in touch with me less than an hour after I sent them an email & were able to come by that afternoon to pick up our junk. They were polite, efficient & beyond helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again or to refer them to friends!

    junk removal from condo unit

    After reading good reviews about this company, I decided to call them to help remove old furniture and other junk from a condo unit. The person on the phone was very courteous and he was able to book me a timely appointment to suit my schedule. On the day of the appointment, the two junk removal guys called me to tell me they would be arriving in 15 minutes, but they didn't arrive until 1 hour later, citing a delay at their previous location. However, they were still within the 2-hour window that was originally provided when the appointment was made. The junk removal itself was very quick, however I was a bit disappointed that they tried to hurry things along by using the public elevator to move a couch and mattress instead of waiting for the moving elevator that I had booked ahead of time. Security was watching on camera and warned me that I would forfeit my $500 deposit if they did it again. Overall, I found the price was reasonable. However, I would have appreciated if they had notified me at the time of booking that there would be an extra fee because moving the items from the condo unit required the use of an elevator.
