    Re-balancing the dishwasher

    I had Peter to re-balance my dishwasher, which was still in good working condition after 15 years, approximately two weeks ago. He explained to me in detail about the cause of the problem and he carefully fixed it without any aftermath issues such as water leaks. He is a knowledgeable, professional handyman. I definitely will give him a call if one of my appliances need to be fixed or installed a new one. Thanks for your good job! Keep up your good work!

    appliance repair

    I have used modern appliance a few times and Peter does not disappointment. He is straightforward, honest and and reliable. What more can you ask for.

    Maytag Fridge

    We have a Maytag Fridge that was building up ice in the freezer compartment. I contacted Maytag directly and was told I required a service call that would cost $75.00 for them just to come out and look at it. I had used Modern Appliance in the past for a different fridge repair-so I decided to give them a call. Peter gave me some suggestions over the phone to fix my issue-and happily his suggestion fixed our problem and it has not happened since. We really appreciated Peters honesty-he could have given the same response as Maytag-but instead he helped us at no charge with a simple fix that any person could do. Thank you Peter and Modern Appliance for your excellent service. I would NOT hesitate to recommend this company to anyone who needs appliance repairs

    Replacement and installation of a refrigerator ice maker.

    Called for service on replacement of my ice maker that has not been working for over a year. The part was order by Modern Appliance and within a few days the ice maker was installed. Work was done professionally and I would highly recommend Modern Applianceto family and friends.

    Stove repair

    Peter communicated very well from the start and never gave any unrealistic expectations. When it looked like another part would need to be ordered, he went the extra mile and figured out how to fix the problem.

    Stove repair

    The bottom burner in our oven kept going out. Peter called me to get some info regarding the stove and said it sounded like a bad igniter. He ordered one before he came and swapped it out very quickly. He was very friendly and professional. The work was reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend!

    Oven repair

    Peter arrived promptly and was well prepared. In setting up the appointment, he had requested some specific information about the oven (model, make etc) as well as a description of the issue/problem. This helped him to arrive with the correct parts based on his initial estimation. Peter seems highly experienced and knowledgeable and I highly recommend him. We will definitely call on him again for servicing of our other appliances.

    Refrigerator repair

    Valve of water intake hose into refrigerator was leaking. Replaced valve. The service was excellent, professional & friend. I will call Peter again next time I have appliance problem.

    Stove Repair

    Peter is a true professional and a pleasure to deal with. He was quick to respond to all inquiries before coming in to complete the repairs. His work was quick. Not only did he address the issue of concern, but he also took the extra step of fixing other issues he observed. All done at a completely reasonable cost. Would highly recommend.

    Washing machine repair

    Although parts are no longer available for my 30+ year-old washing machine, Peter kindly agreed to come and have a look. He had serviced my dryer a couple of year ago, so I already knew him to be very experienced and professional -- obvious expertise, courteous, reliable, etc. But he outdid himself this time by actually building a replacement for the broken part out of materials I had on hand, and the washer is running great! He's got a real knack for problem-solving. I'm sure he won't be able to do that in every instance, but it was quite impressive, as was the extra effort he put in to provide exceptional customer service.
