    Refrigerator repair

    Our fridge stopped working and had also been leaking water from the freezer. I called Modern Appliance and Peter was very very helpful on the phone to me. He took the time to explain to me my options and had a quick temporary solution to get my cooling back while the needed part was ordered. It was very easy to email him the model and required details. His temporary solution worked as suggested and he was quick to respond to all my emails. When the needed part arrived he was quickly able to fit my job in and arrived on time, charged what he said he would charge, and cleaned everything up after the job. I would highly recommend him.

    Washer replacement

    Peter was both knowledgeable and a pleasure deal with in the process of deciding whether my old washer should be repaired or replaced. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to family and friends. Service was prompt, professional and efficient.

    STOVE TOP REPAIR

    Peter was knowledgeable, prompt and reasonably priced. The work was done quickly and well. I would recommend him without hesitation.

    Fridge Repair Service

    Shortly after Christmas my fridge went on the fritz, where the power kept cycling off at random times throughout the day. Spoke with Peter early in the week, provided the model number and explained the situation. We were able to diagnose the issue over the phone and agreed that he would order a replacement for the faulty part (control board) and we scheduled an appointment later in the week for him to come in and do the work. Work was done quickly and professionally. Have not had any issues with the fridge since. Definitely going to use Peter again, as my dishwasher also stopped worked shortly before Christmas - hasn't been the best start to a new year for us ;)

    Dishwasher repair

    Peter has provided advice to me several times. The last repair was done efficiently and effectively and he communicated his timeline and the completion of job in a timely fashion. I will be referring him to all my future clients without question. Dishwasher repair Gavin

    Appliance service

    This is the fourth time Peter from Modern Appliance has come and saved one of my appliances from the trash and I am remiss in not writing to recommend Peter and his company before. He does fantastic work, gives excellent advice and has saved me thousands of dollars. What more could you ask?

    Various appliance repairs

    Peter has helped me numerous times. He will discuss the problem with you over the phone and offer suggestions free of charge as often he doesn't end up coming out to your house. When he has come out he has been punctual and does good work. He always charges a fair price. He has repaired my fridge and stove. I would recommend him very highly.

    Compressor Replacement for Fridge

    Peter was fantastic. Very friendly and knowledgeable on the phone and extremely responsive when I finally booked a service with him. Unlike some other repair companies out there, if it is clear what the issue is, Peter will show up WITH the necessary parts. He was very pleasant when he arrived at my house (on time, no less) and was very tidy while doing the repair. Price came in as estimated. Thank you Peter!!

    Appliance repair

    Replaced a faulty circuit board in our fridge that made the temperature highly variable. Peter was punctual and honest with his estimate. Work was done quickly and with little fuss.
