    Dishwasher repair

    This was our first repair by Peter and we will never use anyone else for appliance repair in the future. He returned our call promptly, arrived exactly when he said he would and not only fixed the door problem on my Kitchenaid but corrected an improper installation while explaining to us what he was doing. Peter is a true professional.

    Gas stove repairs.

    I have used this company a number of times, both personally and for my clients. Peter has always responded in a timely manner and I find he is honest and has a high degree of integrity.

    GE Stove

    A very pleasant experience - Peter responded quickly to my phone call and diagnosed the problem by phone. He ordered the appropriate parts but was able to fix everything without them. No charge for parts. It's wonderful to know someone you can count on for any future appliance problems. I'm recommending him to my friends.

    Fix freezer in a fridge

    I have known Peter for at least 20 years. Modern Appliance is my go to company. Peter diagnosed what was wrong with the freezer, had us defrost it and came back a couple of days later with the parts and it is running perfectly. Peter is a gentleman and a pleasure to deal with. He is honest and superb in what he does.

    Refrigerator Repair

    One day my GE refrigerator decided to call it quits, and the fridge went dead. My freezer on the other hand was cold but unfortunately that too wasn't operating properly either. All thanks to Peter, just having to speak to him over the phone in a matter of 5 minutes into our conversation, he was able to diagnose and pinpoint the exact cause of the problem. I have to say I was very impressed with he's professionalism, honesty and the quality of service he has provided. He was very patient to answer your concerns and takes the time to ensure that your appliance is operational and working seamlessly. He breaks down what repairs needs to be done and the approx cost for the job to be completed. By far the best appliance repair service I have recieved , I would definitely recommend him to anyone, very knowledgeable. Hands down. Excellent service!

    refrigerator repair

    I received truly excellent service from Peter at Modern Appliance. He confirmed my diagnosis of the problem over the telephone, tracked down the required part within a few hours, came on time as promised and fixed the issue at a very reasonable cost. I will recommend him to my friends. Very knowledgeable & professional - top notch service !

    Appliance Repair

    When my Samsung front load washer stopped working yesterday I tried calling various repair companies. Although the guy from Modern Appliance (forgot to get his name) couldn't come out to see me till next week he still spent 10 min on the phone trying to diagnose the problem. Looked up the error code I was getting and called me back with some suggestions I could try on my own. He even had me call him back to make sure I had solved the problem. I would 100% recommend this company. They helped me solve my problem and didn't charge me a penny. Great guy!

    dishwasher repair

    I'm very happy with my decision to call Modern Appliance. Peter was quick to return my calls, punctual and efficient on site and took the time to explain the problem and the breakdown of the cost of repair. Worth noting: Before he made the house call, he explained the option to call the manufacturer (Bosch) to check the recall list. Had my dishwasher been affected by a recall, Peter would have forfeited the service call & saved me some money. A really upstanding move, in my opinion. I've already recommended Modern Appliance to friends and won't hesitate to call them for my own appliance repair needs in the future.

    Appliance repair

    I've called Modern Appliance to repair a number of appliances in my home - gas stove, fridge, washer and dryer. Peter is always quick to respond to my call, arrives on time as arranged. When the appliance needed fixing it was done with a minimum of fuss, expense and he is always careful to tidy up after. When my old fridge broke down he examined it thoroughly, and told me honestly that I was better off buying a new one. He even recommended a couple of brands and models in my price range. When a friend asks me if I know a good appliance guy, I'll be sending them to Modern Appliance.

    Dishwasher repair

    My Bosch dishwasher had a leak and I was at a lost where the leak source was. Peter was quick to return my call and even offered suggestions on how to check for the leak before my service call. He was very thorough and pleasant to deal with. I would definitely recommend and would not hesitate to use them again.
