    Fridge fan repair

    Peter was friendly, courteous and professional. When I called he basically diagnosed the problem over the phone and confirmed during his service call. He ordered the part and returned to install it later the same day. He patiently answered any and all questions I had to my complete satisfaction. I know exactly who I will be calling should I require any other appliance repairs. Highly recommended.

    Gas Oven Repair

    A few weeks ago my oven stopped working entirely: the gas would turn on, but the oven wouldn't light. I called Modern Appliance, and they immediately offered two times that they could come in that week. Though I had originally thought that the only issue was the igniter, it soon became clear that other issues were also at play. The repair person (whose name I can't remember at the moment) worked incredibly patiently to resolve the issue, and my oven is now working perfectly. He also reminded me of the $10 coupon code on Homestars, which I otherwise would have forgotten about! Great service.

    KitchenAid Repair

    I found Peter of Modern Appliance on the Home Star site and he fixed our oven. He did a great job, on time, with great service and at the price he quoted. I would use him again and highly recommend him to anyone.

    Maytag Oven Repair

    The igniter on my oven needed replacing so I used Homestars to find an appliance repair service. Based on the reviews I read about Modern Appliance I gave them a call and the service was exactly as others had reported. Prompt, polite, careful, respectful, personable, Peter shared handy tips and overall he was a pleasure to deal with. I would recommend Modern Appliance to any of my friends & family.

    Dishwasher repair

    A recent storm blew out the hydro in the area. When it came back on, it created a surge in the line and blew out the dishwasher, coffee pot and fax machine. Peter from Modern Appliance was the person I phoned after searching on the Internet. He was very good, response time and in communicating what was wrong and the most effect way to proceed. He was spot on with the repair estimate and in time to install the part. Thank you Peter

    Oven Repair

    It was such a pleasure dealing with Peter! When our oven stopped working and we called Peter he was both helpful and knowledgable - he knows his appliances! With the information we gave him, (model, problem, error code that was appearing etc.) Peter pretty much diagnosed the issue over the phone, & assured us he would order the part promptly. As soon as the part came in Peter made an appointment with us. Unlike other repair persons we've used in the past, Peter showed up when he said he would, respected our home and repaired our oven in a timely manner. The cost of the repair, labor, etc. was reasonable, and within the quote Peter gave us. Without hesitation, I would recommend Modern Appliance and Peter to my family, friends and anyone in need of appliance repairs.

    GAS STOVE REPAIR

    Peter was great to deal with. Basically diagnosed the situation over the phone, made a servie call to confirm the issue, ordered the part and then promptly installed it as soon as it was available. Peter is a pleasure to deal with and super knowledgable. Would absolutely reccommend him to all my friends and family.

    Oven repair

    Our oven was not heating, after checking Homestars, I decided to go with Modern Appliance. Peter called me back within a few hours, after describing the oven problem, he seemed to know what was wrong. Peter arrived right on schedule, he had accurately predicted the problem and my stove was fixed in less than an hour. Our oven overhead light was also burnt out, Peter told me where I could order a new bulb. He was courteous, knowledgeable and even offered to clean behind my oven! I was impressed with the service and will definitely be using Modern Appliance again for any future appliance repairs.

    gas dryer repair

    it was a real pleasure dealing with peter. he is a highly qualified technition who solved my problem and repaired it at a fair cost in a prompt fashion. i would recommend modern appliance to any of my family or friends,thank you.

    Washing Machine Stopped Mid Cycle

    Our 10 year old washing machine broke down this past weekend. After speaking with Modern Appliance (Peter) they quickly assessed the issue and ordered the parts. Within two days they were at the house and fixed the problem within one hour. Thank you Modern Appliance.
